high riu any one watch it? the fight was mad i expected silva to knock him the fuk out for all that shit hes been sayin but instead he got made sonnens bitch for 4.5 rounds and got a lucky triangle.

the other fights were good to was a very good event if you missed it go to http://ufc117blog.blogspot.com/ to watch the main card fights or download the whole event in HD (reccomend downloading).

what do you think of UFC 117 and ufc 118 tony vs coture?

I thought all the fights were pretty good other then the domination Chael put on Silva. I was in favor of Silva the whole time. I felt like it was kinda planned the first couple rounds Silva was just letting Chael hit him. Silva might have been dominated but Silva did more damage to Chael I think.

About UFC 118, I feel James Tony is underestimating Couture. He still might win, but I dont think it will be a quick knockout like he expects.

A person becomes someones bitch when they lose and get all bloody doing it. Who lost and got bloody? Silva hurt whatever his name is more while being on his back. Sure it wasn't pretty but sometimes you just gotta win ugly. Lucky submission???

I didnt find that to be a lucky submission. I was suprised he didnt go for that earlier. He had an armbar and a leg triangle in at the same time. Chael had to tap. No way he was getting out of that.

well mabe not his bitch but he got fucked up the guy must be hard as nails not to have any cuts from the 200 and odd punches he took.

yh i think silvas plan was to make him look a fool by takeing his punches but he underestimated sonnens power. i was jumpin out my seat also lmao it was the best fight ive sceen in a long time i wanted sonnen to win beacuse hes funny as fuck with all his shit talkin.

the tony fights gunna be a good one as well i want tony to win just beacuse i agree with him coture is no legend hes way over rated.

I am a fan of Couture and he is not overrated at all. 47 and still fighting overrated? I dont think so. 4 fights in the last year overrated? He may not be at his prime but the fact is that he is still fighting. And winning!

yh but hes boreing sonnens ground and pound is good to watch coutures just lays on the guy winning by points. My point tho is he carnt be a legend with only 28 fights 10 of them losses.

It isn't about if you win or lose...it's about how you play the game. Couture...meh. He is getting to old to fight. Silva got knocked around for a few rounds. I hate ground fights....and 30 seconds in every round that is where it ended up. Glad I downloaded it so I could skip all the lame shit and see how it ended. Silva barely locked that triangle in. Sonnen woulda won if it went to points.

I love watching Silva fight but the last 2 fights hes been in have been total shit, he doesn't deserve the title after the performance he had last week Sonnen totally earned my respect

Dos Santos is going to hold the belt one day no doubt, but he gave Roy Nelson everything he had and that fat son of a bitch was still standing. Shane Carwin couldn't take out Brock Lesnar with a full on assault, it'll be interesting to see if Dos Santos can.

I still hope it will be Cain v. Dos Santos and a rematch between Carwin and Lesnar

I think Shane Carwin should be champ right now. I felt it should have definately been a TKO in that fight. Brock sucks anyways. Heavyweights should knock eachother out. Brock is going to lose his next fight.

he talked so much crap...I honestly didn't expect him to be able to back it up. Until 117 I'm fairly certain Silva has only lost one round in his UFC career against Dan Henderson (correct me if im wrong?), and he pretty much got worked all 5 rounds. Still, the breakneck arm bar was really an example of his incredible, world class jiu-jitsu skill. I think both fighters proved something in the fight, A. Silva is not unbeatable and B. anything can happen in the sport of MMA and its not over till its over.

Last two? Are you referring to the Forrest Griffin fight? That was hardly a bad performance on Silva's part, Griffin went out like a bitch on that one.

That was a really good fight. I was rooting for Sonnen after Silvas last fight when he danced around.

I thought that Sonnen was going to get submitted a few times during the fight. Silva looked like he got rocked a few times. I couldnt figure out if Silva was playing opossum and waiting for the right opportunity or if Sonnen was too active for him to do business as usual. I must admit that i was really bummed when he tapped out. Sonnen did a lot of work but not a lot of damage. If he could have done some damage I think he would have won hands down.

I hope they have a rematch. But I doubt that unless it gets Silva out of Dana's doghouse.

Sonnen and Silva have both said Silva had recent rib injuries before the fight...that being said, Silva was Sonnen's bitch
