Ugh! Help! DRYING PROBLEM!!??

I don't know which leaves to cut off???

any that is brown goes right?

some of the larger leaves has trichomes on it. do they stay? Do i cut the larger leaves away from the bud?

you mean for manicuring them?

no drying. i just cut a branch off the plant.

drying it for 5-7 days before manicuring it.

i don't know which leaves to cut off. i cut the larger fan leaves. but there are also leaves inside the bud. some larger some smaller.

its not the end of the world if a few small leafs remain on the bud, but generally you want to remove as many as you can

why's that? doesn't it add more weight? doesn't it also have trichomes?

for taste and appearance, if its personal stuff leave as many leaves as you want if they are trich covered. whats your definition of manicuring?

...I personally trim off as much leaf as possible, save them and use them to make cannabutter = cookies. The small amount of leaves (NOT FAN LEAVES) trim'd off of your buds wouldn't weigh much once dry, btw. Good luck.

i dunno how you trim off all those leaves. soo many frickin tiny leaves. some are nudged deep inside. i cut some of them just in half. tried to get as much as possible but damn...

fiskars micro shears! you can get virtualy inside the bud to get the little ones. less leaf good!

why is that? they seem to have A LOT of trichomes. wouldn't we want that in our bud?

its personal preference if you are growing to medicate yourself.

For my medicine I leave the bud leaves on and when i dry it they are upside down and kinda of do a cupping effect on the buds. For medicine that I end up donating I usually cut the bud leaves off either wholly or in half. I save those trimmings and either dry them and keep for myself or donate as schwag. I mix some trim up with a nice little bud nugget in a bowl. Helps alot with keeping a burn. This is just how i smoke. Other people like to medicate by cutting up the bud so there is better airflow. Which is fine too. It's all personal preference.

if you like the taste of leaves yes lol, i like the taste of bud. it just adds a little harsh to the smoke imo

look at how YOU would like to see your bag, covered in sugar or not, im always a little disapointed when i get a poorly manicured jar of herb. everyone has a little leaf in ther sack it really cant be avoided but, for what its worth my opinion is people trying to sell bags thast are poorly manicured, with the exception of some of the deisle strains and this deep chunk strawberry cough i had the plesure of smoking in the bay area that was just COVERED in trichomes,less leaf means a better looking bag, and people wont think your trying to make up weight selling leafy sacks.
