What the confusing limited knowledge post above means is that some LED fixtures lie about their fixtures wattages. Eg some claim to be 1000W but only pull 400w from the wall.

Converting a Watt of electricity creates a Watt of heat.
That much? Recently I was looking up what someone else said he had and his "800w" fitting didn't even pull 200w.

Said it before and will say it again, led lighting is a bloody minefield unless you're going QB or strips. As soon as it's these "full spectrum grow lights" you REALLY have to look closely at the detail and ask a LOT of questions. I took one look at the "assortment" and prices and said "Fuck this, I'm building something for less using what I know" and, thankfully, it's worked otherwise I could have been like so many and ended up with something that could barely outshine a firefly's arse.

Free smoke is always good smoke!!! I have more than a decade under my belt and I seem to continue to learn something on every grow. Each new strain you grow will give you new insight too. Good luck and keep it green!
