UK grower needs light link .......

O guy's ,
I am looking to buy a new 1000w grow light complete unit , Ballast etc, i want to hang the bulb verticle so whatever reflector comes with it will not be used , it must be new and i would rather die than order anything from ebay , but anything else goes , i'm talking the cheapest budget unit possible (if it came with a parabolic hood i will consider it) , again UK links only please , rep for good links ,

take it you never heard of google ffs LMAO... why buy a complete unit if the reflector is going to be thrown.. quick look on google and greenshorticulture have a 1000w compact ballast for 110 squidleys... without the bulb.. but they sell them too and probbo a parabolic tooooooo .. yep 50 squidleys.. fucking bargain mate. bulbs coming in at around 50 quid so just over 200 bucks your away... will pay for itself after your first harvest.

ebay is as secure as a wet fart... LMAO... greens do good customer service and servers are in da dam so everythings sweet.

I am lazy and more minds make for good results , i live a 3 min walk from greens lol and if you think they are cheap , it's you who needs to Google , No 1 in Bristol uses greens , they rely soley on online sales. thanks though. i do have some of their umbrella hoods the white ones and they are ok tbh , dont talk to me about Ebay....

Goten , my mate , i ordered an Iphone 4 from Ebay , and got sent a nokia 3210 that did not even work lol , although paypal returned my payment i was nearly £500 , down for 2 weeks , even though the money was not the issue i really needed the phone for work , so for a 2 week period i had over a £1000 out just on phones , Once bitten and all that =)

But keep in mind that it was not ebays doing , it was the company that sold the phone

Iv never have ordered a phone off ebay but i have order other things like my hps and t5s , inline duct fans , just most of my growing eq and never had a problem

Im not trying to be an ebay representative or anything i just know they do have good deals on a lot of things and hps set ups is one of them

Like i said though i understand where your coming from , i just personally would not let 1 seller stop me from getting other good deals from other sellers ya know

Goten i agree with what you are saying but after speaking to a few people who use Ebay the advice i have been given is this , buying an item worth over say 50 bucks on Ebay during the xmas period can result in you being ripped off , more so at this time of year it seems , what do you make of this , and do actual hydro shops advertise on ebay , i want to avoid private sellers if possible , i need to add the extra light within a week .....

Yes actual hydro shops advertise and sell the products off ebay also

I ordered my hps and t5 from ebay , but the seller was htg supply

I been growing for 15 years mate and my yard still standing , you talk about shitty products and link me basement lighting , shit man those guys are still selling poot lights with the ballasts attached lol , may aswell add a sunbed into your grow op while your at it haha

Yeh they are with some stuff.. And cheap with others. Seems to be pricey on hardware usually and cheap on nutrients..
also they are just down the road so it's usually a convience thing. The guys in store are friendly and usually discount stuff down for me...

Between those sites I usually find what I need at reasonable prices.

eh up clonex got muckers in W-S-M... my mucker uses another grow shop there but I cant remember the name of it.. to be honest I thought just over 200 bucks was pretty cheap to get started and it will pay for itself... no grow shops here at all nearest one is hour n half away.. cost of petrol now means its cheaper for me to go to greens... fuck their plant magic range though LMAO overpriced shit..... got a few tips but need to find them... no need for cannazyme and the like as its just a watered down version of this http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100070904/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 we have the same gig over here just cant remember the name of it.. apparently it will last ages as you use so little of it... does exactly what cannazyme does.

Yeah cheers man i live next door to greens pretty much and like my man said as with growell they are pretty steep on the hardware side of things , they are very good on sheeting and grow medium if you collect though , whats the name of place in wsm , ? try and remember please maybe worth me a38ing it down there......... i know it will pay for itself , already run 3x600w , wanted to take 1 out and add 1000w to flower room(i just extended it) and put the 600w in my lagging behind 250w(lol) veg room , i need more vegg power to fill the new room............thanks for your input...
