Ok, so i’m looking at two tents 1.2 x 1.2 meter, and maybe another smaller for veg to cut my grow times down.

i’ve a number of grows under my belt and ususly go with soil grows and organic feeds schedule, dont mind peeps adding in there methods or any good advice for a decent set up,

usualy allways grow from seed but looking for a veg area to start cuttings in this should cut my overall times down as most know from seed allways that little longer. Cuttings ? Cuttings cuttings ?

whats people’s max wattage on these payg meters and rough cost’s please. As we all know we dont have the liberty to do as we please over in the UK so safety first as once we past that threshhold it’s serious business especially if we hitting 10/20/30 plant per grow.

is any of you peeps over 3000watts on these meters and at what lenghth of time, i know many say dont worry about usage a d just pay you’re bill as suppliers dont care ect ect.

thanks for contribution, keep it cool not here for pissing contests and want this thread to turn to shit with the usual “ i pulled a hundred Oz’s out a 2x2 “ here for advive and here to help others where i can.

for a 1.2x1.2 500W or more

when you take your cuttings - no direct light until roots show, a week or two.
Thanks for reply mate. Think i’ve settled on the 600 watt ( dimmable ballast ) plus thinking of putting a spider farmer 2000 in there also some might say over kill but i think the extra lumens should go a long way to adding to overall yield.
Still undecided on seeds or cuttings. I have ten kush seeds and more on order ( growers choice range ) just thinking ahead for next run so maybe take cuttings for second tent at a later date... or maybe i’ll veg all 17 seeds and split between two tents ( decisions ha ha )

Watch overkill with LEDs. I’m a former 400 and 600 HPS grower and I wasn’t prepared for the power with LEDs. Burnt my first couple of runs and still dialing them in. I think a 600 watts at the wall LED will be lots for 1.2 meter tent.
I start new moms from seed each year and take clones from them. The seed starts go outside and I run exclusively on clones inside. Check my grow in my signature if you want a look, 960 watts of led.

will do mate! Thanks for reply, i’m in UK so any outdoor growing is outa the question ha ha. Think the spider farmer sf2000 is only 200watts at the wall so should be good, hps is dimmable and i have various bulbs can switch up between 250watts to 400 up to the max 660watts ( super lumen ) think you can dial down the spider farmers also so i’ll have the option to take it easy rather then hitting them hard from the switch. Could even just go with the 400watts for hps.
Thinking secondry tent for veg and cuttings after first run, maybe start my veg off in main then once ready to switch to 12 /12 i”ll take my cuttings and put in secondry tent. Its more to cut my run time down to a 10 wk turn around.

I had a sf2000 and sold it. Overpriced in my opinion, and I didn’t want to deal with them under warranty. You can get a better light for the money a sf2000 will cost you. At least I can in Canada. The new generation spiders have the dimmer. Huge difference in heat and power draw between HPS and LED. My last grow was the first time I ever spent more to run my HVAC instead of my lights.

yeah man i know looking on shitbay and amazon they look costly, i see alot of people buying the components and building them for half the cost. There’s a sf4000 for £350 currently on ebay they come dwn a bit as at one point they was selling for £550 which is way too expensive.. sf 4000 and the 600watt dimmable propley over kill for a 4x4. I might opt for a cheaper version as its more or less secondry lighting for the variation of colour andand extra lumens
