Anyone from the uk have trouble with bud rot this year? I have lost about 4 kilos due to mold and I'm now deciding whether to crop a month early.

i have never had bud rot I've been growing for 5 years outdoor and indoor but I've now started to notice even my greenhouse plants are getting it, I've tried many solutions but I guess the whether man was right 10 years of shit weather is to come :(

It's all about humidity.

If your RH is high amongst your plants then you develop micro-climates where things like botrytis can spread and multiply very easily.

And no! Thanks to my dehumidifier and my air exchange I'm bud rot free.

hi jordamon, thanks for the reply.

The fact it has been raining for 2 weeks straight without a day of sunshine hasn't helped.

ive even tried putting my greenhouse plants in my house but still can't control the spread of rot.
i personal think when rot has taken place, its so hard to control, I just hope one day there will be a easier solution maybe some kind of plants feed that helps stop the spread.

And I don't think a dehumidifier would be much help outside man?

Didn't realise you were outside my man.

Look at products like "rot stop" or "guardian angel" these products are used leading up to and during the first few weeks of flowering to help stop the development of rot.

And you are correct, once rot has taken hold you can't stop it.

I lost 3oz indoors a few years back due to micro-climates. Should have hauled over 18oz but due to cutting early because of rot I only harvested 13oz.
