im with ya straight up G if you look i was one of the 1st to reply to his origanal thread its just more bullshit SCARE tatics.

If anybody read into the smart meter.. surely they would draw the same conclusion you did.. surely there's no need for all this...

the price difference between a small growers electricity bill and a non growers bill is hardly anything at all. this won't affect small growers..maybe people growing 50 plants in a residential home...maybe

Thanks for all the advice, all i was really after was peace of mind before my meter is changed in the near future, i have been growing herb for the last 14 years under the same address without any problems, i always pay my elec bill on time but just felt supect towards the elec company in the new information they will have on me as it does give them a far more accurate account on what power is being used and more too the point ''when its being used''
I never take any thing for granted when it comes too growing herb and i've came 14 years hassle free for a reason, the new meter and what i've read sounds like another Big brother watching and recording us and is just typical of the UK and goverment we are under.
All i was doing is bringing the new smart meters to the attention of anyone thats doing the same as me and wanted any advice.

fuckin hell it's a miricle if they get your fuckin bill right, never mind workin out what your using the electric for lol

I understand bobtokes on what your saying am just very suspisious of their new technoligy more too the point, what it records.
I know having lights on and drawing power does not mean you are growing herb it just means you are drawing power, but at the same time lets face it how are the power companies going too respond when they see an increase in power demand at your address at the same time each day say in the veg or flower stage, the average house hold is not growing herb and thus does not have the same power demand as a grower, maybe am just a little parra about this but i have done alot of reading and research on this and these new meters seem to be able to record just about everthing on what you use and when you use it, i dont feel to happy about a power company ''WONDERING'' why i need power 18 hours a day every day over say a 4 week veg period then dropping too 12 hours for your flower, power companies are in no way stupid and have seen it all before, call me parra mate but i just feel a power ''PATTERN'' over time could raise a few alarm bells.

Yeh i know mate, i guess i dont like change and feel suspect towards my power company wanting in too change my meter too a smart, i find it hard not too be just a little parra over this, cheers fur yur input mate.
My letter just says they will be doing this in a few weeks, their timing is bad am sure you follow my meaning.
