Hey guys,

Saturday i begin my outdoor experiance.
I hope its a hot one,
My goal for this season is 30 Chronic.
spread out along 3 locations (if i find 3 decent location, if not then my eggs are in one basket)

I live in the north and its very difficult to find a good location.
I have a trip planned on saturday to find a location which i have allready scanned on google earth.

Its going to be a good 20 mile return hike to get to the area which has ,
running water
open south facing hillside
eclosed by a valley and woodland.

it would be the perfect location so long as the soil is good
because i cant take soil up with me. its too obvious.
Because i do not have my car with me it will be a 5 mile walk from the nearest town before i leave the road and head onto the offbeaten track.
because of this i need almost everything to be perfect at the site.

I have an indoor grow at the moment and as soon as this is over (end of march)
I will plant my 6 chronic mothers.
come the 7th may i hope to have 30 rooted clones to take out to my chosen location.

I plant on visiting every other week with nutrience rich water or dry nutrience to cover the area.

I will also take some plastic sheeting up with me on my final visit to keep the rain off them in the final week or so.
this will destroy the stealth factor but it i need to do it then i need to do it.
The area i am growing in has a lot more rainfall than the rest of my area.

i will be posting photos of my chosen area on saturday night so please drop by and lend me a hand.. it is my first outdoor grow and i am looking forward to it greatly.

thanks.

I do have a question mind.

I will be planting the seeds in the last week of march.
so i will have 4 weeks to get 30 clones of them.. enough time?

just remember to use google earth to help ya scout spots, saves hours/days, also you can see trails where ppl regularly walk etc that are not visible to the human eye at ground level and when youve got a short list of spots then you can physically go look at them and decide if they are any good

Yeah i have a perfect spot.. it may have hikers up there now and again but not so much in the area i have chosen, its in a east/west vally, there is a stream running through it, it has woods on either side but there is a large clearing on the south south east facing side.
all i have to do it treck 7 miles on saturday and hope the soil is good..

have you done any outdoor grows?

So i decided to go find my outdoor location 1 which i scouted out on google earth...
didnt have a map so i took a screenshot from google earth with me.... neadless to say it doesnt show the cliffs and peaks... probably the most stupid hike i have ever done in my life.. my friend fell 20 foot and almost smashed his face on a rock. and i had to chase my rucksack (with camera and passport in) 200 yards down rapids before jumping in to cathc it.. fail day.

outcome was that the ground was too marshy and rocky.. onld good spot was along a hikers footpath... hope i have better look with my other spots...

heres some photos...

am i correct in thinking that they would not like the land? doesnt seem like there is much growing there so somethings not right... right?

You will need to use some growbags or pots my friend, looks like there is gonna be rock all the way down & the acidity levels are gonna be off the scales.
I used some buckets last year, a 20ltr bag of compost will still produce a 6fter so you have no worries.

Such a shame its gonna be packed in the summertime with walkers and its far to open. Thanks for sharing the pictures though

Gl with the other plots how are you doing with them ?
