Does the Sentinel CHHC-4 just plug in or does it need to be hard wired in?
It has a 15 amp max for all four slots correct? There is one slot for a heater, one slot for an A/C or fan, one slot setup to run either a humidifier or dehumidifier, and one slot for CO2 generator, correct? 15 Amps wouldn't be enough to run both an A/C and a Dehumidifier. I assume A/C units use a lot of electricity, and I know dehumidifiers do.
Had a hour of extra time last night and did some research so I can get my set-up prepared.
This is a quote from the directions,
5) The controller requires a 120 volt, 15-amp power supply. Plug the
power cable into a standard Nema 5-15 wall outlet.
6) The devices that will be controlled must be 120 volt & 15-amps or less.
If larger electrical loads need to be controlled, use 1 or more PXMs to expand
the power handling capability of the CHHC-1.
I have to assume that since you are plugging in the unit to 1, 15 amp breaker, then your total load off the unit can't total more than 15, However I never load anything over 75%.
I also found that Sentinel has light controllers as well and will free up some space in my panel so looking at the 240 unit as well for the lights.
