Yes if your just growing a few plants buy the seeds. Yes the term lowryder refers to autoflowering strains.

Thanks man. Appreciate the feedback. I would recommend the Lowryder 2 or Auto ak47 for high yielding. The lowryder 2 has a sweet smell that isnt too strong which is good.

Whats your venting system like? I think youre ready for hydro, dont you? Think about the yields. Sheeesh Im jealous!!

Yes basically what im saying. But there are alo variables. For example if the female u were pollinating was stunted or had some problems the seeds it produces might have problems as well. Thats why you have to pollinate the best looking female

so pretty much keep the best looking male and cross it with the strongest best looking females?

i tried to tell him go hydro and get almost double yields. They said you just flower a few extra days because they get bigger and more flower sites. I did a little reading after i mentioned it to john and ive heard all good about auots in hydro so far.

i think im gonna try a few side by side in hydro and organic custom mix see wats the best then do a full fem run maybe choose a couple of keeper males cause after that harvest its breeding time

Dude I did a side by side kinda and my dwc with feeding tubes running up to the rockwool whip soils ass. I used miracle grow but still like 4 times bigger in a few days.

Yeah Im trying to decide if I want to give auto a try or not. Im growing Afgan x Mazar as well as NL right now and they are getting pretty big and I just started flowering. I like that you can have a crop ready to harvest in 60 days. Im pretty impatient.

if you got 60 to 80 days to set up and get going you can get a harvest every 14 days

the la diva and diavalo from dianfem are heavy yielders also

UPDATE: Harvest 14 plants

Harvested the rest of my mature plants. Pulled 14 of them and got 780 grams wet so expecting like 6 to 7 ounces. Very nice sugar trimmings. Bud is extremly more kill this time cause i let them go a little longer. Also since I had the c02 setup for these plants longer, all the buds were pretty solid. Some of the top colas I couldn't even squeeze cause they were rock hard. Took a picture of the weirdest plant I had. Had like 4 heads instead of a single cola and I didn't even do anything to the plant.

Its ok of a yield. Im barely getting 14 ounces a light. Aiming at atleast 1.5 a light next crop. Im gonna make butter with the trimmings.

Nice yea I have DWC grow going on with autos right now. I am only using straight airstones! I also have autos growing and few mix fem strains, and various others in a MOONSHINE mix. For those who dont know what that is its pretty much a combination of Fox Farms Planting Mix, Ocean Forest, and Light warrior mixed with there Big n Chunky perlite to really help aereate the soil.

Anyways props to you and your grow journal, I am happy to see a heavy grower growing autos. I have looked into heavily and been turned on to them since then! I look forward to doing other auto strains, right now I am only going with fems ( Auto Ak47 Easyryder, Shortrider, Red Dwarf), just to get my feet wet and to avoid the hassle with males. My Moonshine mix is still early in the stages, but the dwc is been going on 24+ days now.

How did that butter turn out? What was your method if you dont mind me asking, I made some the other day for first time and it was great... only off of schawg though I can only imagine what that would do....mmmmm..Anyways I cooked mine with water n butter on low for bout 1 1/2 hour and then I strained and but in freezer.... I was shocked......

So I am curious as for water sessions go, where u using spring water or tap? Did you have to be careful with your watering or did it take well?

I really like the thread, and look forward to accomplishing what you have done here. Bravo!

Haven't made the butter yet. I do the exact same method as you described. I use tap water ran through a reverse osmosis system to purify the water

so do you have 2 1k hps switchables in the 8x4x4.5 tent and it holds 70 low ryders/bluberrys etc as long as there autos?
