Ultimate Seed starter plan needed

About age 7-8 years they just stopped working. The absolute best strain Ive ever had and still have a few no longer work? Funk like nuthin else. Ive tried many ideas and they either crack dead or bloat but are still white inside. Sandpaper the outside and several soaking ideas. Guess that's why the old strains from the 70s are no longer around. I just see no reason to keep seeds older then age 5 now. IF you have success please pass it along.

bag with rice inside. worked fine till about age 5. Did notice the last year took a week longer then most seeds but dam they all cracked. Next 3 years attempted and nothing.

are you doing paper towl method?

This is my tale of woe! A few days ago I had work done at the house. I had some boxes I had to move and I found a glass jar full of seed from back in the day. I do not remember saving this jar or how long I had it. I believe it was from when stuff came from the islands that we bought in bales. See attachment. After doing some weighing and calculations I figure there was close to 30 thousand seeds. To make a long story short the work went faster than expected and the workers went to places that had not been ready for then to go there. Now the jar is gone.

Keep your seeds in the future in your fridge, has worked great for me for the past 15 years now...

Try the hydrogen peroxide thing.
