You should really use a candle, the butane lighters are not efficient & they give off about the same lumens, though you may want to look into some lst techniques to keep the canopy low and light penetration high.

oh i never even thought of that. the butane must not be good for the plant either that is some bad air quality. make sure you have a small fan for strengthening up that stocky stem.

This may be one of those rare cases in which you have too much light..........food for thought.

What? Seriously, thanks ALL for your input! Rawbudski, you saved me so much on the cost of lighters, I installed TWO candles! I'm SCROGGING this little lady all the way to the bank! Seriously, though, how much do you think she'll yield? I've knid of already spent the money, so I need at least a pound.
