umm curing...

Ok, so ive been curing for about 5 days not and it seems that my buds really dont have much of a smell..if anything it smelt like grass lol but now it really doesnt smell like anything.. anyone?

more info would help. My initial thought would be that you jarred when they were too wet. Wet weed in a tight space can grow bacterias that cause a hay smell... It's the same bacteria that causes spontaneous hay fires when it is too dense. Might not be what your describing, but it's the first thing that pops into my head...

yea, I might have jarred it to early I only dried for about 3 days and its in a jar thats about 12"x12"x12" yea it smell like hay.....are my buds fucked? will it smoke fine or should I just make some food ???

Relax. It's not too late. How damp are they right now?

umm id say there about 35% wet ...almost crispy

How much leaf did u cut off? I trim all leaf off, as that has the most chlorophyl release, which may be the smell. Just put in your jar and leave alone for a while. Patience.

That is completely normal. The bad smell is chlorophyll escaping as it cures. Soon it will disappear and then you will start getting the normal good bud smell you desire building up and getting stronger. All a part of curing. I burp them pretty often when i jar em the first few days. seems to make the smell disappear quicker imo .
