It's about 5.3 acres and it's nothing but mountains and trees.

I would suggest honing my outdoor growing skills.

I dont know the area

But what is the tax situation
Water , what sources and how reliable/clean are they
How about utillitys in the area

You planing on living their or just a investment
As it sits no utilities or buildings. Electric is a block away, should be easy. Wells around here about 300 ft and 8-12k. I do want to build a small cabin for next summer but I shall take it slow. Tax is 150 year and there's a county fee around 125 year. Can I find out if the county has its own regulations on plant counts and such online anywhere?

Sorry I could not tell you , Im from the NE, and was only speaking about the property in general

I would look closer at your water situation, some areas can be fickle , and not hit water at all, or not enouth water volume, or issues with contamination natural (salt, sulpher) or otherwise , Their is a online data base off all wells driven (leagly) and their production stats or lack off . I think it's USGS or something

Good looking out I checked out the website there seems to have been a lot of work done in the county even on my road!
Water is definitely a make or break for out here its high desert.

I'm pretty efficient with the shovel. You can get me to show up with a stash bu:bigjoint:how would you get me to leave? Haha
Dude if you're willing to not only pick the shovel up but use it too, and efficiently, you can stay as long as you want. I'm thinking greenhouse in the near future :bigjoint:

Any recommendations for greenhouse? I would like to be able to lock it up. I can build myself as well.

Look into building a tiny home for your living quarters, even build it on a trailer and not have to worry about getting permits etc.

Good idea. A person could also use a shipping container and fix it up a bit.
