Under growth shriveling?

I'm on week 2 of veg in my waterfarm. Temps stay at 70-85. Great ventilation with 2 Massey fans running at all time. Exhaust fan exhausts every 15 minutes (15 on, 15 off). I'm using Advanced Nutrients only at 5ml per 2 gal for grow/micro. 1.5ml for bloom. 15ml for voodoo juice. 30ml of B-52. My 400w HPS is 2 ft above the plant. Why is it looking like this? Most of my under growth seems to be shriveling and dying while my top growth is flourishing. Not to mention, she's drinking like 1/2 gal every day.

Here's pic's of the top growth:

And here's the bottom:

Can anyone help? I'm thinking about just trimming all of the shriveled foliage off. Good idea or not?

There's no such thing as too much water at this point brotha. lol Her roots are sitting in the reservoir.

I used to run waterfarms, They always look a bit 'saturated' until they get their legs under them. Personally I think your ph is off, since your new growth is all twisting.

I calibrate it every week. It's a Hanna pH/temp meter. Pretty reliable, imo. Never have had a bad reading with it.

And 85f is on the high end, during flowering you want to bring that down unless you are using substantial co2 supplementation.

Well, I have 2 Hannas, the black kind, both are unable to give me an accurate reading lol. I've been using ph drops in order to check my meters accuracy, after countless readings that were off, I now use only the drops :(
I'll get another meter eventually, maybe a blue lab, I hear good things about them.

Cannabis's normal climate is anywhere from 70 - 90 degree's in the summer. Look at California's temps. It doesn't stay there for long. Maybe 5 minutes at a time. It mainly stays in the 70's range. Especially since its getting colder. It's gotten down to even the 60's recently! lol I vent to my attic and pull cold air from there down to my tent. :D

I have the red kind. I'm noticing that your performance from the pH meter is dependent on how well you take care of it. I rinse it after every use. Make sure the electrode never dries out. If it does, I soak it in neutral water for an hour. I run it through cleaning once a month. Ohhhhhh the OCD from being a chemist... lol

Like I said, I'm not saying to get rid of your meter, I'm saying to reference your calibration every week or so. My friend uses the red meter, he never had any problems either.

I have heard good things from Blue Lab. Especially the ones that just sit in your reservoir. My friend swears by them. If I had an extra $125.00+, I'd get one myself!
