The fact that you found a place that is owned by nobody is more evidence that you are smart. I would say that most places on earth are claimed by someone and most people would be hard pressed to find a place they could just dig up and legally use. Also you can use the shit for fertilizer!

you should keep the bottom of the room above the top of the water level, if possible.

but if you don't own the land then somebody could just walk up any day. some surveyor for the government or a private entity looking to use the land, or just a local resident like yourself. how are you going to hide it all from them? the loud noise of the generator would be a dead giveaway.

you would be much better off, imo, just planting some seeds in the dirt and doing an outdoor guerrilla grow.
