Understanding How To Get Your Mmpc

I have a few questions on getting my mmpc.
I live in st. clair county in michigan, i have tunnel carpel and some back pain. I know its not a major problem like cancer or aids. I have been a asprin or vicodine user for the past few years, a friend told me to try some pot to help with the pain in my hands. It work great for me, i now smoke a couple a day to help, and i dont eat pills like candy no more either. I am self-employed landscaper by trade and have no insurance. so no medical records. My question is would i still be able to get my card and if so does anyone no of a place in my area that provides this. Any help would be great or at least push me in the right direction.
The reason for my card is i dont like buying pot on the street corner or parking lots and would like to be legit so i dont have to look over my shoulder. I am a married man and have 2 kids and feel like a addict when i call somone for pot.

Believe me man I Feel your pain. I was on Norco 10/325's for some time and I got hooked. I have a pinched nerve in my back and some bulging discs. I started smoking again and I am off the pills now after some treatment. Anyhow there are doctors out there that will help you. I am no sure personally of any around where you are but PM and we can talk a little. I may not be able to answer until after 6pm.

I would just be honest with the doctor. If a couple joints a day gets you off of vicodin that should be enough proof to a reasonable doc. I would go to a place that specializes in medical marijuana cards.

my first instinct is that they are crooks and really dont do much for the community.

The website screams for membership has its privileges and my question what privileges?
Does the law no pertain to everyone equally regardless of race, creed or color?
A benefit maybe a discount on a cup of coffee at the local shoop? probably not!!
It has no benefit as a member that you already have as a NON member.

They are the same as the MMMA, Michigan Medical Marijuana Assoc. all crooks looking for money saying they are working the phones and pressing the flesh to the peopl in charge and they are sitting back taking in the money and never really doing anything for anyone, except for themselves.

I would stay away.

hey when you get your paperwork in the mail i can hook you up with some good people in your area (i am in northern Macomb). I know your feeling though, even with my card i don't like buying on the black market. Also if you need help with a grow room i will help build and design....

EDIT: Google Dr. Bob Kenewell inTroy, i got mine through him and he was a great guy (wife too) he goes by dr.bix on the MMMA.

Ok priced with not a lot of selection...in fact he was sending people to hydro-pros for items he didn't stock last time i was there. he seemed like a decent guy although i have heard stories of people being ripped by him on meds.

Go figure. they just opened a hydro source store in richmond by me. im stoked now i have a close place to go and get chemicals and supplies. But no despenseries yet.lol

Dude are you serious? They organize all kind of protests and do a LOT for the community..

I guess just go to their site, read the forums and decide for yourself what you want to believe. They are currently rallying people for a demonstration on Sept 7 to protest against new legislation introduced to make patient to patient transfers illegal, Despensaries and making it harder for a patient to get certified.
Maybe they have the wool pulled over my eyes, maybe they are pissing down my back and telling me it's raining or maybe they are legit and actually working along side, MINorml CPU, and MACC to try to get this new legislation shot down..

Did you get your card from them stumpjumper?? Did you read that they are going to do a rally or did they tell you personally.
