unflushed weed?

just wondering I flushed my plant for 2 weeks with florakleen and dried it for about five days and am in the process of curing just wondering if I possibly didn't get out all the nute excess and that's why it taste bad and has black ash or will curing fix this up in a few weeks and if not is it still safe to smoke I take like 1 or 2 hits and im done

Hey dude...do you have any pictures? What nute did you flower it through and what's your POG? I had a similar experience a couple years ago...it almost tasted like home grown straight out of the field in the mid west. I put the buds into canning jars for two weeks, opened it, and it smelled and tasted awsome. Is Florakleen for soil and hydro? Peace :weed:

Every plant is diff, but I would suggest not blaming on the nutes or soil, as I did my last grow in MG soil, MG nutes, and fed up to the last week before I pulled, and after a week dry and 3 week cure, was killer shit.

I love that this was said ,no offense to you op I am all for giving nutes all the way to the end.And everytime I hear people say that weed does not burn right or taste right because it wasn't flushed. You did flush and still came across this,so for every Veteran grower on here that ever said it's not the flush it's the dry and cure.kudos to you all.

they've been in canning jars for bout a week now I will cure up to a month max florakleen is for both soil and hydro I picked up some final phase to use on my other ones and see if I see any difference I dried them on a screen till stems snapped hopefully the taste and smell gets better I was thinking it tasted bad from build up of nutes or something

1 week after drying the ash usually comes out way darker than 1 month into curing. If your ash is black after a month cure then you've got something to worry about.

I flush, and my buds burn clean to a white ash after only three days of hangin.....even still semi wet. Would suck to have to wait a month just to cure out nasty metals and chlorophyll just to enjoy my stash...did I mention it tastes sweet with no harshness without a cure?

I grow ten foot ganja plants out of my ass that smell like cinnamon buns.

Hmmmm. Science is defied in your grows huh? I was unaware that metals evaporated away during a curing process.I didn't mean to start a flush or not flush debate I just like that the OP's conclusion and problem is directly in conflict with the reasoning and purpose proposed by the "flushers"
