Unit Farm Ufo 80

No hid. Just the unit farm in the veg area and flower is different led. I will keep the two bigger ones as mothers. They clone easy. Throw them in soil and can go into the sun in less than a week. Best cloner I ever had.

I will flower an auto under it. I'm going to order a tent soon and will use the unit farm for another flowering light.

The t5 was a 2 ft 6 bulb unit. 24 watts a bulb. Almost 150 watts. I'm using 2/3 of the led.

Price point is not my concern. My concern is what the light will do. People can choose for themselves on the price point.

I will say I have used older blurple leds. I have cobs now. This unit farm is a well built light.

Got a link to a refractometer?

Thank you but I'm embarrassed by these plants. I made a stupid mistake.

I usually grow better.

Question for you @whitebb2727 what use is a refractometer do in the world of growing weed? I used them for my aquariums but never for weed.

Dude, that leaf is growing a BUTT KNUCKLE! I'd smoke the hell out of it!:)

Squirrell! If you take the first letter in each word your unit farm name, it would become UFSS kind of like a battleship in the Navy. Now put a little twist on it and you become UFSS bud king or something funky, now that would be a cool name for a boat! That should be the name for the next build battleship or destroyer in the Navy!

My local hydroponics dealer was selling UFS lights for 70% off. Their markup must have been out of this world, it's either that or no one knows about these lights in my area.

I tried my hand at LED lights, the ones that I used were viparspectras. I can tell you that 1 -450 watt light per plant is not acceptable. So the vipars are going to be paper weights because I went back to a 1000 watt switchable HID digital balast (big tent) and a 600 HID (little tent) magnetic ballast.

One day when the LED craze is over I will go back to them but the initial price point is a MF. WIthout doing a DIY LED setup a person has to spend a good amount of money per light to get the penetration that a HPS or MH would get. I know the electric bill will offset the usage of kilowatts when you use LEDs. I am going for time tested material for now.
When my budget changes I will most definitely be making some sort of transition.

@whitebb2727 nice write up! Did you mention that you were getting a tent? If so what size are you going to run? Are you going to do more than 1 tent. 16 plants for one tent that will be one hell of a box. :)

@whitebb2727 what are the plants that you are running?

Look up brix levels. Its the sugar content in plants. The higher the brix the better the plant.
two plants are same genetic ?
Yes. Both are 3 bears autos from mephisto.

I will be getting a tent. Not sure on size. Probably bigger than I need.

For this thread I'm focusing on the autos. The other strains are some crosses I made with various genetics and some from a fellow member.

Yes sir. 70% off. Yeah the dude was bad mouthing your alls product. He stated that the price point was way to high for the foot print that these lights cover and no one would buy them. I call Bullshit! I bet what it is, is more than likely their markup was probally 30% more than other local stores. It's awfully funny they had a few of your lights out demoing their foliage! They Fucking huge and beautiful! So.........

The name AH! Nothing spectacular but it's just a little appealing or has a catch to it.

Needless to say that store is not in my book of places to go. All of the grow/ garden/hydro stores here are nuts. High ass prices.

They are stretching. People say you can't top or transplant autos. I did both. The one on the left is topped. The two bigger ones are in bigger pots now. I raised the light a few more inches and pulled the insulated panel out of the bottom of the cab for a couple more inches. Temps are now holding around 82 with the flower switch on.

The bigger one is either a little burnt from the light or needs some cal/mag. The brown spots from calcium and some yellowing between the leaf veins would be mag. I think ill give it a dose.

Ut ohh... Lol I've heard those rumors on autos.
About the ufo80 its 89w veg 93w bloom 182w both switches
Could run the veg switch during the stretch and itll reduce stress. less intensity and the temps will be alot cooler
The reds do help promote stretch and help produce flowering hormones.
But it's an auto and should flower without the reds
How far along are they?
Looking good

I don't remember how old they are. I don't keep track. 82 is just fine for flowering. I want all the power they can handle. Using the veg and flower switch together works great. I've always preferred mixed spectrum. I have a little 18 inch t8 uv light I thought about putting in there.

I am a little disappointed about the spots on the one. It erks me. They are coming along just fine.

I have a scrog screen I built for my bigger cab. I thought about putting it in with the autos and training them flat.

I like that temp also. When not having a fan blowing across I've noticed water drops on the leaves it was leading to some spots on my leaves with some burn spots.
This light is pretty intense. Calmag is a must with this light compared to my DIY led lights plants

Probably the light since it seems more on the top portion of the plant. I recently changed the light in my momma room from t5's to my cobs and my tallest plant did the EXACT same thing within 48 hrs. I raised the light since I didnt want to decrease intensity to the shorties under the same light. 2 days later and all new green growth across the tops of that plant. Mg supplements never hurt under these lights either though. Looking good man. Its always dicey to try something new in the garden so I'm glad to hear the temps are managable for you with the flower switch on the new light.

I'm thinking its the light also. Combo of intensity and needing cal/mag from the led.

Thanks to both of you.

After Christmas is over I think I will replace this little 2x2 cab with a 3x3 tent. A little more room and height will help a lot.

Hey twistedvinesofbudm, Seems there are some local stores playing games. Actually we have recommended price in distributors contract. So it is impossible for Unit Farm authorised distributor to give 70% off. Im more and more curious the name of the dealer and how much they mark the regular price for Unit Farm lights. lol lol lol lol...
