Time for an update!
I have moved both the Cheese and Orange Blossom Special #4 outside. And today it's raining. They don't seem to mind too much. They both were transplanted into 5G fabric pots with FFOF/Coco Loco (because that is what they were already in - I don't plan on using FFOF any more after this). And I added a bigger raised ring and added to that 8 dowels to form a cross hatch scrog - style matrix. IMG_20190611_082154.jpg

Both the Bubblegum and White Widow have hit day 60 and they are starting to fade and, I think, shown deficiency symptoms. Calcium I believe.

And here is the tent now, except the OBS is now outside as well. IMG_20190610_120759.jpg

And here comes round two!
A couple of Snake Oils from GPS, a Amnesia Auto that was a Seedsman freebie, and a Purple Kush CBD auto from Seedsman. IMG_20190607_225453.jpg

The Northern Lights is starting to show some brown spotting / yellowing of a few seemingly random leaves. I bumped up the nutes from 2g/G to 3g/G of MC to see if that helps.

This below is my first ever successful clone! The cutting was taken from a Sky Dweller, a lower branch while the mother was being mainlined. It was out into a Rapid Rooter then into a cup, covered with another cup to keep humidity up, then left in the tent with the rest.

And finally for now, I managed to get one close up shot of the Bubblegum, and I'll be darned if I don't see some amber trichomes in there. I'll have to take a closer look at the plant again, it may be a trick of the lens?

Yuuuuup!
I took another look, and even though I had been looking closely, and often, before and never saw any, now I'm seeing amber trichomes everywhere!

The WW and BG both have approx 5% amber trichomes, by my estimation. None on the NL yet. I guess I had to train my eyes to find them, but now I can easily find them using my $9 jewelers loupe. (https://amzn.to/2WGDfXY)

So my plan is to let them keep going, and aim for that two week flush. I think I'll end up pretty happy. The WW is quickly putting on some purple color and is getting frostily beautiful.

Time for a bit of a update. For mostly financial reasons, I did an initial harvest from the Bubblegum and White Widow.
BG:

WW:
IMG_20190617_193136.jpg

Most of the bud is still left on the plants, but I've got some nice stock now dried out and beginning to cure. I'll get a weight soon, but I've got about 3/4 Oz from the WW and 1.5oz from the BG.

So here is the tent now:

And some bud shots:

IMG_20190622_065036.jpg IMG_20190622_064908.jpg IMG_20190622_063653.jpg
The BG and WW are showing overall about 80-90% cloudy trichomes, but I'm not seeing a lot of amber on the calyxes yet, so they continue to go. It's day 72 for those two plants.

The NL is on day 65, and is just a little behind the other two flowering plants, as might be expected.

White Widow :

Here is the nursery corner of the tent, where round two is starting :

I topped the Snake Oil:

Things outside are looking great. I've recently been able to sex the remainder of these plants, and they are all girls!

So now we have one Orange Blossom Special and one Sky Dweller in the ground, and one OBS and one SD in 5G fabric pots. I think I'll keep this configuration, but may up pot those girls sometime. We have a ways to go before harvest here. IMG_20190622_104503.jpg
The garden also has peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a squash.

The next generation plants were looking sad tonight. I think they were all dry. Watered them with RO.

Snake Oil from GPS is growing quickly -

So we will see if they're happier in the morning. I think I definitely err on the side of under watering instead of over watering.

However! The smallest one, NY Diesel Auto is doing great!

The lighting isn't great, but here's a little shot of the Bubblegum I harvested last week.

It's funny, I think I fell temporarily asleep 4 or 5 times while writing this post. But I've finis

Thanks! I can't share my hobby with anyone IRL aside from family, so it's nice to be able to show off (and gather advice) here. I've learned so much here!

The bubblegum is a pretty great sativa high. It Wil be interesting to compare the first harvest to the second.

On another note, I've noticed foxtailing on the WW and BG. I don't think it's light or heat stress - though temps have been a little higher lately, I've actually raised the light and turned it down. Also the foxtailing is pretty much all over the buds, not just on the tops. Could be stress of some kind?

Thanks for the link. I did a bunch of reading and decided it's of not much concern to me. I did raise my light a little and moved my fans though.

The White Widow got the chop tonight! I knew that I wanted to wet trim this one. I'm hanging it whole for now. It's exactly 11 weeks today, and it's 7oz wet in its current condition with all the stems. There was a partial harvest before this of about 3/4oz dry.

Also, the next round autos and the Snake Oil got their first LST training:

The little NY Diesel Auto is looking good. The clone of Sky Dweller #2 (outside), which is just out of frame here, just started yellowing so she is going to start out with some Megacrop tomorrow at 1g/G.

All three have now been harvested. Everything is nearly dry, here are the rough outcomes :

Northern Lights : 8+oz wet - 3.1oz now (80% dry?)
Bubblegum: 9+oz wet - 3.6oz now (80% dry?)
White Widow: 7oz wet 1.75oz dry (totally dry)

IMG_20190704_092519.jpg IMG_20190702_064050.jpg IMG_20190628_012839.jpg
I hung them to dry, then when the outside gets a little crispy (2-3 days), they go into jars to sweat for a while, then they get put into paper bags for a day or two. Then back into the jars. If they sweat out some more, then back into the bags for a while. Rinse and repeat until they are about 62% throughout.

I'm pretty happy with this result. This will last me and family quite a while.

Very nice timing they should "auto" flower outside and free energy :)
I ordered some OBS was wondering how those harvested.
Gonna sex 4 in south window and clone the tops hopefully i get one nice dank girl for next year.
I'm very pleased with a chonook haze i haversted outdoors too. It's a devastatingly hazy tangerine slight honey strain mmmm.
