Unusual problem......

I have never seen this issue before.

However from reading the thread and viewing the pics it seems likely that it's the addatives you are feeding it that are the cause, confirmed if flushing has helped the issue (unless you got a catapiliar in a stealth suit).

Your grow looks awsome, best of luck!

after dealing with dyna gro i now dilute every nutrient i buy with equal parts warm water, shake the shit out of it, store the excess and repour it back into its container. i then write "2x" on it so i remember to use double the recommended dosages. i always shake excessively too. I do this with all my nutes and noticed a big change!

but to help you with your problem... its most likely earwigs...http://anewscafe.com/2008/06/11/whats-eating-you/ you wont see em anywhere cause theyre most likely hiding under your pots or something(they come out at night). i use http://www.groworganic.com/sluggo-plus-2-5-lb-bottle.html sluggo plus. this is basically noodles that are laced with iron phosphate and spinosad. you moisten a paper towel or dirt and then pour some on top. the moisture pretty much activates it so it attracts the bugs. make it easy to get to , perhaps on a plate or something. just make sure earwigs could get to it and i think you'll be fine. i don't think its the silica. also foliar feeding with nutrients might help get rid of them because it'll make the leaves less appetizing

It is not earwigs.......my damage is very uniform- the same on both sides off the center on the leaf. All the pictures of earwig damage show random holes and it looks nothing like my damage. I'm more than sure it's caused by an overdose of the silica. Everyone that has the same problem is using the Gro-tek product too- that's more then a coincidence. I've stopped using it, and gave the plants a good flush- there's no further damage and things are actually looking quite good right now.

I havent fed since I saw your pics, but I wont be using mine either.
I feel that any benefit it might have given is already there, and the excess is most likely the damage we both have.
My new ferts are supposed to show up today, so one more flush then start the experiment
I prolly shouldnt experiment with my whole crop, but what the hell...

I never gamble no scratchers...time to take a risk.

Worst that can happen a burn or def, and Ill flush and go back to my GH stuff I always use.

How far along are you again???? I'd definitely start with a lower ppm....and work your way up. You can always increase doses if they yellow. I HATE starting with new products.....you just never know.

Exactly 2 weeks flowering today..........
