Update! First grow, floro, 6 1/2 weeks flowering...

just wanted to share the girls with ya'll... it's been a couple weeks... and heres the deal, i have till the end of the month until i move out of the apartment i live in... so that's basically all the time i have... i'm hoping 8 weeks is going to be enough, cuz i can only give a few more days than that, maybe

Say what?? I'll cut YOU, Biatch!.......What goin on Ian - Pretty pics man. Dude, I must be crazy, becuase I only see like 4 26w cfl's, plus a tube or two on top? WTF? Tell me I'm wrong man. SO jealous. How the heck did you manage THAT? I'd love to know exactly what lights you've got happening man. 65k's, or 27's? Wattage? Same ones all the way thru, or did you switch after vegging? I'm doing my first grow - using hydro - but love to see other growers having success with cfl's as I am. Sativa, Indica, or hybrid? Anyway, looks great man. Good growin, Peace

no... in the topped plant most of the larger fan leaves are gone because i killed them off... haha... i've done lots wrong... but these things keep on tickin

and on the untoped plant, i burnt the leaves with the cfls (they ended up leaning against the plant, whoops) and i cut off the parts that were severely burned, but thats the only trimming i've done really

well, i cut some of the lowest branches and fan leaves, i'm growing floro so they weren't getting much light at all

the grow is some sticky-ass bagseed... so strains unknown

lights... started off with one shoplight holding 2 four ft. cool spectrum 40w tubes, then added another shoplight with the same lights like 3 weeks later, then another one after another few weeks, finishing my veg with a total of 240w of cool floro power

then, when i switched to flower, i threw in some cfls, and have a total of 5 23w cfls, all in the warm spectrum.... plus i switched out two of the cool spectrum tubes for a couple warm ones

ohhh well that aculy probly might have helped because they would have been giving every thing to the budd!!!!

i don't like cutting anything that is green and healthy =]

them fan leaves give the plant its energy anyways, so they do some good

How long did you veg for?

uhh... round 2 months... started them at the very end of feb. and started flowering at the end of april

wow...I vegged for 21 days starting at the end of feb and all 3 plans have already been smoked and are resting in my lungs.

I had slightly less watts than you and I pulled off maybe an oz and 1/2 total...9CFL's @ 26W...

my buds didnt look nothin like that tho lol.... now Im gettin jealous..and the part that really upsets me is that yours are only 6 1/2 weeks into flowering so they're only gonna get bigger and bigger!...just wait until the end of week 9 and you'll see what Im talking about.

have U started feedling molasses yet? If U havent started yet or if you have any plans for it make sure U keep it up till the final flushes then cut the molasses off.

yeah, molasses all during flower... 1 tblsp per 3 ltrs of water

i'm probably only going to get a little over 8 weeks flower... just maybe 9 but prolly atleast a couple days less than 9 weeks =[

although... i might get real high and brave and attempt to move the plants... but that would take some effort... i dunno.. we'll see

i've been able to sample some of it that had flowered for like 5 weeks... and it definitely is heavily indica influenced... it straight sits you down and numbs your brain for a while... haha... and it tasted quite harsh, but i could hint some sweet flavors after a good cure.....
