*Update* Madeline's week 7 of flowering

Time for an update on my newbie grow. We've entered week 7 of flowering... the hairs are starting to change, she's swelling up for the 2nd time, her trichromes are still clear though, at least I think they are...I haven't quite figured out how to use this new pocket microscope I picked up to view the live plant yet. *shrugs*

It's not been all peaches n cream though...I know I have a problem, more than likely its a Manganese deficiency if I am diagnosing it right. I flushed her with 3x the normal amount I water, and pH'd it to 5.5 to help Manganese uptake. I've been feeding her at 5.5 pH since, but I figure there's not much else I can do at this point this late in her cycle. (If I'm wrong and anyone has some better advice, I'm open to suggestions)
I'm starting to lick my chops :weed: ...I know "the time" is getting closer, but feels like its so far away still too :wall:.

I'm making peace with the fact that I won't be harvesting come Christmas...although I might sneak a nug . Maybe she'll be ready before New Year's....think that is a fair assessment?

Here's the pics!

It's a waiting game. If you're not sure about the trichs, try sampling a nug a week and hope you find the harvest sweet spot before you smoke it all up!

123.jpgYou'll know peak harvest time when trichomes turn brown. Continue to take pix and look at them on a computer at 100%. You can spot the brown ones pretty easily. Some say at 10% brown, go to town; others, like me, prefer couch lock to head high, so then you let them go until ~ 20% (all relative to the strain, of course). This pic is about my minimum time to harvest. Good luck.
