Dude, you have posted that pic so much times it has clogged up all the internet pipes, it is a form of aggressive advertising and it is right up Advanced Nutrients street ;)
Lol, facts...You haven't seen nothing yet wait till I get all the other brands I want to try out, and the list is getting longer every week, it's going to be bananas!

I fell for Fox Farms marketing, but I came out with incredible results.
I don't think anyone has said the boutique "lineups" don't work. It's just that it seems like the long road to what is a fairly basic part of growing.

Instead of trying another boutique brand (Advanced Nutrients) next time, why not try something simple. It would be interesting to see how *that* compares to the multi-bottle hyperbole. (You also won't be supporting a scammy business which likely funds its pedophile former owner.).

So. Been at it awhile and I probably have a little different business plan than most of the posters on this site. I've used them all over the years and this is just my opinion. I can see you all have plenty of your own so here goes.
For the beginners I think FF is a great entry level nute. For sure not the best but easy...very easy.
For intermediates there are lots of great programs from many great companies. I happen to like AN as well as others like GH, Dutch, Heavy 16, Humbolt, and many others. These programs are both fairly easy and effective. I really like these for my indoor grows as I can lay these out easily for my partners to make it as easy as possible for them.
For myself I really don't care. I go to craiglist and find the "1 grow wonders" who are selling their equipment cheap and pick up any deals and half the time they throw in their nutes for nothing (or close to it). I also hit the guanos as well as other natural stuff to make my own teas, I like this for my outdoor. Right now I'm using Cyco nutes that I picked up from a shop going under. I got almost a thousand dollars worth of Cyco for a hundred bucks.
All I'm trying to say in my long winded post is don't get locked into the brand thats "cool". Instead learn to read your plants and look for the signs telling you what they want to eat. An animal can go get it's own food and pick up what they have the taste for, a plant hopes that you can figure out what they want. They can't talk to you but hopefully you can read it by the look on their face.
Anyway read your plants and not nutrient companies advertising, your wallet and your buzz will thank you.

I fell for Fox Farms marketing, but I came out with incredible results. I'm growing under CFL with Dr. Q's organic soil. I'm using the full line of Fox Farm and following the schedule exactly. I'm in week four of flower. Here is some bud porn. View attachment 3601041View attachment 360104View attachment 3601044View attachment 3601045View attachment 3601046
Man, i could care less what brand of food you use but seriously? 14 bottles of stuff to grow one plant? The hydro store must love you. I have a few more than one plant and i only use five bottles and two are an A and B base, and one i switch for another one for the last three weeks of flower, so only four at a time, and one i use for one week in bloom. So really i use three bottles for 95% of the grow. Base A and B, and calmag. I mean i throw free samples i get in every now and then but thats just to save money on my base. Ill even pick stuff up from the discount rack if the npk is the same as what i run. I dont think the picture on the bottle makes much of a difference in how well the plants grow. Genetics do the work. You just have to keep em green.

Oh and to all the experts on this thread. Do i need more than base and calmag? I stop calmag and replace it with a mag + sulfer for the last three weeks, and run a pk boost for one week in bloom...its like mid flower maybe week 3.5-4.5, around four waterings.... Does that sound right? Anything else you guys would add? Soiless, synthetic feed.
