Hey ROI,

I currently have a 4x4 tent with 10 cxb3590s 3500K at 1.4a on 2 250w drivers that i use for veg to flower.

I know you aim for about 50w per sq/ft so I was wondering what would be the best way to upgrade my build.
Ive just started looking at boards so I may add them to the build
Stay with 3500k? or add different spectrums?
what other spectrums would I benefit from since im using 3500K?
also going to add a red light initatior

10 of those is probably near enough isn't it? If you add more give them a couple 1750 cobs and a couple 5000k cobs maybe. Would give a little more bright white and deeper red. Or just add qbs.

I don't think that's a bad light. Personally, I'd just add another driver and 100-200 watts @ 3000K for flower. CMX22 cob's or Bridgelux Gen2 or Samsung F-series strips on the sides.

I don't aim for50w/ft. I think that number comes from HPS or low quality LED. You can get a lux meter for about $15, I find it much more useful than watts/foot.

10 is definetly great! But you can see on the canpoy where the light is lacking. Was considering the qbs. Just wanting to fill that space on the sides. Thanks

Good idea on something just for flower as they already veg well and only really need the extra light coverage in flower.

nah not at all...im only a beginner grower and jumped straight on the led ship so i cant compare with hps or other lights or other spectrums in regards if they are vegin fast or slower or what not but i was extremely happy with the final product so i cant complain
