i have never had this happen before. i can't really find any pics that look like this on the forum but based on everything i've seen it sounds like a phosphorous def. i find that hard to believe. I'm growing satori under 400w hps, its the end of 7 weeks flower. satori is a light feeder but i've still been giving them light doses of big bloom and tiger bloom which has plenty of phosphorous. first i saw this purple stuff on the yellowing leaves but now i see it on green leaves also, but only on the upper colas. i'm wondering how much correcting i should do with just a couple weeks left of flower. this is happening to 3 of my plants, only 1 has normal leaves. does this look like a P def or is it something else?

it hasn't been below 70 degrees in over a month in the room, and i don't think that the leaves turning this color is normal. yellow, yes, purple no. satori is not a purple strain and even if it was this is not how purple should show. the veins of the leaves are not discolored, just the flesh of the leaf, and it only happens on one side of the leaf. I'm getting worried now because i don't want whatever is wrong to fuck up my bud. theres only about 2.5 weeks left but this all came on suddenly within 2 days. I'm afraid come harvest time it will just be a mess.

Yea man your fine! Your just getting to the end of flowering and the plant is starting to suck all the energy out of the fan leaves. Your all good, stop fretting, and enjoy the smoke here in a few weeks!

Could be strain specific... Are you having a fluxuation of temperature of more then 15 degrees at any time?>/ Low temperatures have been known to bring out purples and blues. could also be a deficiency but i doubt it

tell me a few things... you said the purple is only on one side... are the stems (check top and bottom) turning purple as well?

Can i ask ... are you useing tap water?

what is the hardness of your water in PPM(hanna) or EC

Could this be a deficiency or excess of chlorine (CI) ? or Copper(Cu)

i am using tap but i couldn't tell you the numbers on it. I do let it sit at least overnite in open gallon pitchers before i use it and it comes out of the tap with a ph of exactly 7, and this does not change after the chlorine evaporates. i couldn't tell you the numbers on the hardiness of the water though but i imagine it's on the softer side because i never have any residue in my sinks or shower or anything but that's as much as i know about it. it's only the flesh of the leaf, the stem and veins are still yellowy green, andf when you turn the leaf over and look underneath it looks normal except you can tell the other side is discolored if you hold it to the light. i have heard people claim that finished satori sometimes has a purple tint to the finished buds, but i never saw any pictures and a definately never heard of it on the leaves, especially just the middle leaves of the main colas. what you said about the temp swings is interesting though. although the temp in the room never goes below 70, it does sometimes spike way up if i forget to crack the door on a warm day, so the temps have actually had some drastic swings a few times. i never really paid much mind because satori is so heat resistant but i think that's actually the best suggestion i've heard so far.
