Actually, their is a Range it should be in. 6.2-6.8 your plant will still grow fine.. Regular water with ph of 7 is good to water with.

Most soil pH emulates the outdoor conditions where slightly acidic rainwater over time turns the soil to a similar pH hence why the 6.3 to 6.8 range is what a lot of plants including marijuana like, this is for a soil grow not coco. Now soil organisms love a straight pH7 to work at optimun which is why some people say pH7 is the best. I like to hit pH 6.8 if i can no higher and find this the best trade off between organic ferts and soil organisma as well as the 6.5 prefered range that most plants like. Thats where it comes from dude.
Now i think Lord Dangley is onto somthing, you add a certain amount of ferts and it comes out way higher, could be salt or fert build up but i dont grow in coco. Fix one thing at a time and Munch stop being so destructive, if you want to give an opinion do so but if you cant be the better person and drop your beef with Lord Dangley well this aint the place, growers should choose what to believe.

LOL... Me too!!!! Im gonna go on what I was told by the Hydro store guy for now I guess..... He said to Lower the PH of my feedings to 4.9 for a few days, and use ZERO nutrients..... He said it will slowly bring down that runoff over a few days, and force it to use what it has stored up in the pot.... Hopefully things look better soon..... But Im still open to any advice.... and the answer to my PPM question on the Bluelab Truncheon...... Which PPM do I look at? The EC X's 500 or the EC X's 700?? Thanks guys

flush your plants with water ph at 6.2 whatever water drains off the bottom of the pot. take a sample of that, and then tell me what the ph is.
Also whoever told you coco needs to be watered more often lied to you. The smaller the pots the more often you are going to need to water. Do you have a moisture meter?
People who grow in coco use drip systems. they work best for coco. I don't like growing in straight coco because the good stuff is really expensive and there is no food in it for the plants. So then you gotta buy nutrients too. Plus it compacts easily. The soil I get called Roots Organic has coco already mixed in it, along with food like guanos and minerals from rock dust.

About time Munch, we could all work together despite our differences and disagreements. You and Dangley are onto somthing now. I see that people say you can water everyday in coco but i see that dont work for many, still it dose have a lot of air pockets and spaces in between the fibres which i believe is what people base this watering every day on. I dont see that it works that well though, if the medium is still damp the next day why water again.

Why do I want to use 6.2 PH water to flush? I thought the range for coco was 5.5-5.8? If my runoff is already 6.4, why would I use a higher PH to flush with?? I just dont understand
This is what I mean..... One person says test runoff water, one says not to... One says 5.2, one says 6.2..... Now Im supposed to guess who's right?
