Upper leaves turning yellow and curling downward in 2nd week of flower

I water with RO water 10ppm I then add from 220 - 250ppm's of calmag. Just like the Doc said. Calmag is gods gift to plants and is very important to coco. Remember that most coco needs to be charged before you use it. Remember to flush your plants frequently to wash off some of the salts that have built up in there. Stay away from hard water that will also mess you up and cause lock out.

LDB... I see your name in red as well....

Im not sure about the calmag... goin to the grow store today

LBD thinks hes cool because he puts people on ignore all day. Then later on, he goes back to look at thier postings and leaves negative rep points. He thinks its sneaky, but I think it makes him look like a really fake person...

I suppose thats his right as an Elite, elites also get bigger message boxes over 50. Why arent they taking no more subscritptions, it seemed very cheap and good fun? Peace

Just an Update.... I have been flushing and trying to bring down the PH of the Coco for 3-4 days now.... Girls are looking a bit better..... Still major yellowing, and a slight downward curl to the leaves......

The Doc111 opened up my eyes to water and cal/mag, he is the best i ever met on water, truly a credit to this great site. Peace

how i use calmag is when i make food up i add 1 to 2 ml per litre of water i found with advanced nutrients ,GH flora it always safe to add your a and B's 1 ml per litre starting of veg and second week same 1 ml per 1 litre of your foods 3rd week 2 - 3 ml and so on when i got my first strain Afganistan thats what i did but skipped week 2 and started week 3 right off the bat got lil nute burns so i backed off to keeping it normal
what i find weird is seems i trained my plants to take more nutrients meanin by end of week 2 i am in the range of 750 - 800 ppm goin into flower so 450 first week then double it plants are wicked healthy

I knew plants needed those elements but people always told me there is enouph trace in water already so there is no need for it unless I do the R Osmosis

Sometimes i will feed 600ppm at end of first week of being a seedling if they look like they need a boost, my seedling soil is weak on nutes so permits this. This will be a one of feed though, wont feed again till end of third week if i do this.

Normally there is, if you had a decent ppm meter you would just stick it in the water and it would read like 200ppm and youd be like yer thats good or 50ppm and youd be like yer that water needs some more cal/mag in it or even worse 600ppm and youd be like hell no i aint giving that to any plants and dosent even seem healthy to drink!lol!

Doc dont recomend any amount of cal/mag in water he recomends that you first school yourself on all different waters and their properties and then find out what your tap water is. Peace

I was thinking about getting this kit here. Does it look like the way to go? http://cgi.ebay.com/BOTANICARE-SUPP...ertilizer_Soil_Amendments&hash=item1c1d574081

I wouldnt recomend a product but i do try to see what calcium and magnesium it contains, is it calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate, calcium carbonate and magnesium sulphate etc etc , get too confusing for me, suppose most cal/mags will work, i think botanicare is calcium carbonate off the top of my head, im not sure though.

Point would be to try some cal/mag supplementation, all should work to some degree. Peace
