whats up everybody so ive been doing my research and have started my first grow. im veggin under cfls and am going to flower with a 600 hps. My question is i have six clones im growing in soil rite now i am using only six 6500k 23w cfls about 2 1/2 feet from clones i was wondering how long i should let the clones grow before adding my other 6 cfls and moving the lights within 4 inches of plant tops to finish out vegging... any help is much appreciated... one love

Get them all in there and lower the lights to about 6". The more cfl's you have the better. Best way i find is to have a few fluorscent workshop lights for the first few weeks...after that i will start putting them under the HPS when i have it on for my flowering plants.

you dont think to much light will shock the clones at all? there on there 4th day home from the club. The first day i had all the cfls in there and the lights lowerd and the plants started to go limp. then i read that fresh clones didnt need to much light and that i should raise them up. When i did that and took out some of the lights the plants got healthy after 2 days. Now im just wondering when would be the proper time to add the rest and lower them.. thanks for the help -one love

You are right...clones dont need intense light, i didn't realize they were only 4 days in. Keep what you have at the moment, should be plenty for now. It is normal for clones to kinda go limp the first few days, once the roots start growing, they'll start standing straight again.

Give them a week and then add more light.

he's had them for 4 day's , if they were selling them they should already be rooted. drop the two cfls about 4 inches from them, they may start to stretch if you dont.

yea the plants were four days since ive had them not since they were off the plant. I think what imma do is lower the 6cfls that are in there now like you said. See how they react and if all is good i will then add in the extra 6 in a couple days thanks. -one
