Are all the new ones from seed or clone? If from seed what breeders? Trying to make an order soon as I'm culling some mother's that I just don't care for to make room for new stuff. Got my next run vegging under the gavitas right now, as the veg space I have is very small and haven't finished my actual veg room yet. Hopefully can start on that soon as well. Need to find a stackable washer and dryer to make room for it lol. Couple more weeks and should be ready to flower again. Did pretty good under the gavitas and went over my goal for first run.
Do we ever really finish our GR's? LOL upgrades make the world go round.

Hey @TintEastwood

when you ran H3ad formula, did you flush at the end?

im wondering if i should be tapering down nutes or preparing to flush this next week or so while they finish up
I did both.
I have also tried flush and no flush indoor.
So. I'm still on the fence about flush....reduce....etc.

Ripening near the end. What and how to encourage proper ripening....maturing of the plant is where I'm going to focus. "Flushing" at the end, I plan to try different techniques as I grow.

Your space and girls are looking great!

I don't know if you want my 2 cents, lol but I'm gonna give it cus thats what I do :).

From the pictures you posted yesterday those plants look like they've got 3+ weeks left. They are all still heavily growing it seems, which means they really need to finish that BEFORE going into the swelling and ripening period.

I've done several flush and no flush tests, and read about many more. I've read the science behind how the plants work and uptake and use nutrients. I advise everyone to do the same, do the tests, and read the actual science, not forum or weed growing literature.

I stopped messing with flushing years ago. I usually only feed around 700ish ppm and I feed till harvest. I dry remove all the fan leaves and dry the branches whole nice and slow 7-14 days. Then brak them down and paperbag them for another 3-5 days to equalize the moisture. When they are perfect to smoke, they go in jars for storage, or bags for friends. People rave about the flavor and smell of my buds. The only person to ever complain was a fellow grower that specifically had a problem with me not flushing. So one day I told him to come over I had a new crop that he had to try because I had flushed it this time. So he came over and loved the weed, and explained to me exactly how flushing had made it better then the last batch......The thing is I never flushed it. Its in peoples heads because they read it in a grow book one time, or online. Flushing scientifically does absolutely nothing beneficial or effective to the plant.

The one plant I chopped this morning was clearly done. 60-70% amber and all orange hairs curled towards bud

I think the others still have a bit of time, although I had a good look at all the plants tonight and oddly enough, most are showing majority amber trics. Can this. S possible? Showing majority amber but also firing off white pistols on some of them.

If I'm going by trics alone, they are all ready to chop except one, on looks tho, I agree with you, they still got time.

Pure diesel smell and frosty as fk

This is the runt, she came down on day 50 from flip. 60-70% amber, maybe even more lol. I hadn't even bothered looking through the loupe until yesterday, assumed it was too early. This gal was a real early finisher

I shoulda known tho, she hadn't gained any real size in the past week or 2 really

I have never seen a plant that looked like yours and was truely DONE. There might be some amber trichomes, but I honestly find it very hard to believe there could be that high of a percentage on the buds of the whole plant. I also learned years ago not to harvest based on any one metric. I follow ALL the signs the plants show us.

That plant was never shown tho?

noone has seen the plant i chopped this morning at all, except for back in veg, maybe very early flower , havent shown that table since really.

The others that i have shown are all showing amber, still a very low percentage tho but what baffles me is they are showing amber but also firing off bright white pistils still. so im gonna just keep a close eye on them and see how they play out.

Trust me, i dont have time today to be messing with chopping or wet trimming, i woulda gladly left her for another week but she looked done by all metrics.

Nice. Some would keill for a consistent 50 day harvest strain. Mo grows....mo meds.

Day 53 since flip

I'll begin tapering down the N and raising PK for the remaining time until harvest.

I also removed silica from the feeding schedule for the rest of flower.

I think we're prob still a good 10-14 days away( that would put me on a very similar time as the other dudes who have grown this strain so far.)

1 girl seems to be a little slower finishing than the rest, so she might have the room to herself at some point.

Day 38

They are fattening up nice. Lots of orange hairs firing off everywhere. Frost everywhere. Sticky greatness

4 times daily feeding. Never increased to 5. Still no automated watering so haven't got time to water anymore than 4 right now.

Amor Si 3 ml
Calimagic 3 ml
Micro 6ml
Bloom 9ml
Koolbloom dry 1/4 teaspoon
How many days did you run the dry koolbloom?

7 days ... week 5-6

Was gonna run it again for another few days at the end but never bothered. They seem to be finishing up nicely
One observation is sulfer.

Huge variance between different feed formulas. Jacks seems really high around 100ppm. I hear sulfer plays a bigger role during final flower weeks....terps and maturing?? I need to do some reading to learn more about it.

Thanks TE, those sheets always help to understand the ratios better

I was under the impression we had to give calmag till the end with coco, so that's why I never cut it out or back. I can easily change that

Still learning lol

Maybe I should lower calimagic and drop micro down to 3ml/g. That would drop the N down big time.

I guess I could even give some dry koolbloom for another week now ? To keep my pk numbers up

Just some what-if-ing so you can see the numbers....
(here I'm using si just to keep the K up.)

My understanding is that cal and mag needs are less during late flower, but they still needs some.
(As coco breaks down it exposes new cation sites.....yada yada.....they suck up some ca leaving less for the girls. or sumpin like dat)

I quit using dry koolbloom, prefer to up the p and k with MKP.
