Usefull Males?...

Evening All,
I was just wondering, in the unfortunate event of a male, is there anything usefull you can do with them?

I think I read about oil or something but don't remember..?

Also I was in a grow shop in Amsterdam and a guy told me something about freezing the leaves, but was so stoned I only caught every other word, is this something relevant?

in order to make hash, you either need bud or trimming. both contain thc/essential oils, there isnt hardly any oil/thc in male plants so i cant imagine getting that much. the only true use for males is crossing, which involves lots of pollen and sketchyness unless you're pro.

iv have never done this but male plants when fully matured contain some amount of thc and this can be concentrated by making hash or oil ...seing as smoking the flowers of the male would probably take you to long to get high... and youd have to smoke soooo much plant matter...soooo people make hash and oil out of the make plants...now im not going to go into how to do these that is up to you to research...but your freind in amsterdam wasnt feeding you any bull...freezing the plant matter makes the thc crystals hard and therefore they brake off better(on a very small level ) becauz after all that is what gets you high. happy smokin hopes this helps....

well its certainly better than seeing all the hard work be thrown in the bin.

OK ... SO HOW ABOUT SOME CRAZY SUGGETIONS AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THROWING YOUR MALES?

mature male = pollenated crop.

the freezing method is also used to make bubble hash. you add ice to a cauldron of water and stir the weed for a half hour. once again, you need thc - which you really wont find on a male plant.

put it in the front yard of someone you dont like, and see if anyone calls the cops on them.

Thanks FourTwentyMan, very helpful indeed.

I think I may give this a try in a few months if the unfortunate happens, seems like freezing might be a simple nway to do things. ;-)
