Ushio Bulb... Does this look new?

Just received this bulb a few minutes ago. Does this look new? I don't remember what my current bulb looked like new but I wasn't expecting the reddish tinge.

They fire all bulbs up once before leaving the factory. My used ones are real yellow so it's most likely new

theres no discolouration of the inner quartz bulb so it looks ok from the picture

Something here seems to be a problem; After 20 minutes not up to full brightness. Using Xtrasun digital ballast. Any ideas or is it a bum bulb?
Edit: that red tinge burned off. I just tried my new Ushio HPS, that bulb burns fine.

Does look new ,no dark marks from use .May be just a dud bulb,this is the reason i never chuck bulbs away i buy them every 18 week or two flowers .Or should i say did before i got the leds

Should have bought it local, now I got to deal with returns. At least I have my old bulb to keep things going. I thought Ushio made quality products.

Now that I think about it, I bet that reddish color was something that leaked out of the inner bulb. That would explain why it doesn't get very bright.
