Got a PC grow & want to do a 12/12 grow, got a timer hooked up, if I had 2 - 3 hrs of light and timer kicks in too switch everything off to cool down for 15 minutes, will this have a bad effect on the plant?

I do have a 30w LED light, if switching the lights and transformer off for 15 mins has a bad effect but I keep the LED on, will this help at all?

I think the box heats up too much and my step down transformer might need a break in between as it get warm too

Thanks for the replys

clouds shade for 15mins or so sometimes i dont think it would affect it much. light interference in the dark periods are what cause hermis i do believe. This is not a technical question so much as a how picky are my plants question, i hope i could assist you in your problemYour transformer will get hot if there is too much current draw too.

Ahh I get ya.. 15mins of cloud shade.. good way to look at it.. o natural somewhat

So Technically, it would be better to run the grow during the day as there is slight light leak.. do a 9am to 9pm cycle - get home for 8pm to water n check on everything while still in the light cycle
