If you dont mind me asking, are u in the u.s or europe?
I was hoping they have something like a long May Day holiday.Lol. My buddy forwarded the conversation with them. After confirming stock, no response to method of payment request. Ill ask my friend to email them again and see whats up. Even with the dhl shipping it would be cheaper for me to order quality stuff from them. And they have a good rep among members here.
In the states man.

You might have to call them, sometimes its all that works.

Thank you for creting this thread buddycolas!

It sounds like you have flowered under both 80cri and 90 cri. Do you think its worth the extra hassle to find the 90 cri over 80cri. I absolutley love the way that vesta 3000k 90cri spectrum looks on tekniks test, so much more red than green. I would love find some samsung f series , 90 cri strips. Have you ever come across those for sale anywhere?
I have some chinese 3000k 90 cri lm561c boards, but never seen official samsung strips at 90 cri. Vestas and cutter is all ive seen for 90cri.

I second this. All my orders were over the phone. I didnt think to mention that. All orders were placed talking to a person. Not online.
Thanks for the heads up guys. I just got text from my buddy, someone got back to him, sounds like the person who takes care of the email stuff may have been on holiday. Excited to get my hands on these osrams and finally get the ball rolling.

Thanks. I have found with today's "warm" cobs and strips that 25-30 watts per sq./ft. is quite productive, but I am a hobby/medical grower and have not used CO2 and went for 1000 PPFD either. When everything settles out and the numbers are in, I would like to know the details on your comparison grows.

I have ran 3000K/80CRI since my initial V6 Vero 29 build, and it seems like the 90CRI gets the job done a bit sooner.

One more thing, where did you get the info on the V2 Vestas?
its not really a comparison grow with like for like comparison. But i can tell this so far: 2700k 90cri was the most productive tray of all, per watt and almost sure per square foot. Well see in a few weeks of drying.

Next build looks like vestas, combined with 660/2000k and UV A/B and maybe even some infra red.

You have probably seen TEKNIK's tests of the High Lights on:
https://www.rollitup.org/t/high-light-efficiency-tests-teknik-2-47-umol-j-cri-94-2.989161/

It APPEARS that the Vesta 2.7K spectrum and efficiency are quite comparable to High Light w/o UVA. What do you think?

Yeah. Poor mans High light. Not too surprising between 3 chips that are all 2700k and +90 cri. I wish i could get them with 2 channels of 2700.
Im also looking hard at those j series on cutter for a small experiment. I believe they are less efficent than the lm561 diodes. But much cheaper. Half the cost. Im thinking about using twice the number of diodes in the cree j series in 3000k 90 cri instead of the lm561 80cri. So something like 12 j series strips over 1x4 area. Thats 336 diodes per sq ft. Lol. 126$ in diodes for cree. Whereas with f series, it could be 5 4 ft strips for the same 1x4, with 180 diodes per sw ft. 125$ in diodes for samsung. Cree advantage would be spectrum shift towards red with the 90cri. And More diodes run soft might end up equaling samsung in efficiency as well. Thats if there was even an option for lm561 in 90cri.

Other small experiment will be much more pricey. 200 diodes per sq ft of lm301b with 6 osram hyper red, two cree 630, 1 osram 120 730nm per sq ft.

Something like this but with 100 less lm301b diodes, so my setup would be less efficient on paper. But with more 630 and 730.
This is about 27watts of 3500k with 9w 660 per sq ft. Ends up at 2800k n 96cri. I will play with different ratios.

Ill make sure to post my own findings down the line.

Big thanks to Randomblame for all the help!

Yes, i think those are the cree, j series. Im looking at those as well.
I dont mind mind paying a little more for better efficiency, within resson. I was going to grab some samsung lm 301b strips and some osram square 660s from a company in germany. My buddy tried placing an 1500$ order that we were going to split. Since its outside of europe they had to prepare a special invoice to exclude the vat tax. At the last second , right before paying for it , all communication from them just dropped off. No response! Now im thinking about just grabbing the f series , adding osram 120s for 660nm, some 730nm and be done with it.

Pretty disappointed with that german company, they were offering a really good price. If they were having issues with credit card processing or other shipping issues, they should at the very least email a potential customer with some sort of an update. Pity, prices were damn good.
Hey guys, i would like to retract my above comment about my disappointment with this company. Once they got back from holiday, they were very responsive. Quick reaponse to emails, and they had the order sent out within hours of receiving paypal payment from my buddy. Nine days after payment, the order shows up all the way from germany to my buddies place in the midwest! I have to admit i was surprised by how fast they delivered. They take care of any customs paperwork, making it super easy. Highly recommend them thus far.
