using bag seeds or quality seeds

I have 17 seeds that I got from attitude. I will be able to grow within 2 months (moving and living alone). Anyways, should I start with my attitude seeds or should I use some bag seeds? I was thinking of starting out with the bag seeds, just to make sure I can get the basics right. If I can handle the first 2 or 3 weeks, which I think will be the easiest to screw up, I could handle all of vegging and flowering. I plan on growing for 2 or 3 weeks, and if all goes good, scrapping the seeds, and then using my quality seeds. good idea or bad idea?

Start with bag seed.

I've seen awesome pot grown from bagseed. It also gives you a chance do fine tune your grow area, temps, lights, supplies, experience.....

You should probably use the seeds you ordered.

Hard to tell how old the bag seed is and temp humidity extremes the bag seeds could have seen.

Seems like a waste of resources if you just plan to toss them.

But then again it takes a coupla days to pop and put in a napkin to find out if you have a few vigorous bag seed tap roots to play with or not.

But if they all sit there like soggy grape nuts in napkins it could frustrate you.

it never hurts to practice a little with bag seed, you will likely make some mistakes, but from my experience you will quickly want to move to designer genetics. They are typically much easier to grow and from what i have seen much much better than anything i have gotten from a bag.
