using carbonated water?

crazy idea.
water with plain carbonated water.
theoretically to deliver co2 to the roots.
i would check the ph first, and i would have to double check the ingredients but any thoughts?

this would be in addition to soluble nutes.

well would carbonated water (soda water?) sprayed on/under the leaves be good for the plant?
