Dude i wouldve thought the same thing but i think its cuz im in the midwest. Home depot and menards really dont carry barely anything outside of miracle grow for organic nutrients out here. U want anything else you gotta visit mom and pop shops or go online.
That's exactly my situation. But I do have a earl may which has stuff but pricey as fuck! It's a weed! You should see the 14ft tall hemp plants around here in non amended no nothing. So nobody can tell me you cant grow fire with mg organic with the right stuff and exp that I have growing. And those organic nutes I'm gonna check out really what it's made of but if all checks out and organic my mykos and gro kashi will eat it up and deliver.
Mom and pop shops are 2hrs away for me and I plain avoid them from horror stories. Ebay where its at y'all.

Yulp! I use the raised bed soil performance for vegetables and its great. I will say I found a couple pieces of plastic but nothing to go fucking crying about like I see on reviews.....what do you think a plastic pot is made of?
I'm vegging purple cake now so gonna be months till I try performance.
But I will say that I'm gonna use my natures living soil amendment with the other two mentioned beneficial with performance too.
I seen the fast acting organic fertilizer might try that for top feeding.

Ahh bummer. We’ve got a small regional chain of Home Depot style warehouse hardware stores and they have a couple aisles with grow supplies. Lots of nutes, T5s, cloning rigs, bubble buckets, etc. there’s also like 10 hydro stores within 20 mins. A couple of them are huge. It’s pretty sweet. Growing is probably a lot tougher in other parts of the country. Miracle grow is probably fine in a pinch. Just a shitty company to give your business to.

I did both. Yeah i dont think the tea was that strong but i dont think it hurt either.

i did end up adding directly to soil as well. My batch that i added the MG in was actually a lot more potent than just the 4-4-4 batch... i hate to say it.
The miracle grow is very close to the 444 npk wise. No need to hate to say miracle grow performed. Its unpopular opinion but while I never used the nutes I have used the soil many times. The plants cant tell a difference. I couldnt even tell ya which containers have miracle grow and which has fox farm in them anymore. MG has grown many crops for many years for gardners.

Prob was referring too all the legal stuff they have been through like killing birds with bird seed and other stuff youd have too wiki. But they own about 30 other brands even general hydroponics.

Hey guys. So all my plants have been going into flower and right now I’m short My dry amendments for flower with higher P-K values. All I have right now are 4-4-4 dry amendments.

I went out and purchased some miracle grow organic granules.

Miracle-Gro Performance Organics Edibles Plant Nutrition Granules - Plant Food with Natural & Organic Ingredients, for Tomatoes, Vegetables, Herbs and Fruits, 2.5 lbs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YM6NLKC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_s5pIEbC3FFK1N

(don’t hate me, it’s all they had and my city is on lockdown and grow shops are closed).

These have a 3 month feeding span so I definitely will NOT be adding to my soil directly. I want to try and make a tea using just a small amount of this and some EWC and molasses and bubble 24 hours. Would that work?
Dr. Earth makes dry blends you can use in your compost teas...
https://drearth.com/.

Ive used their products before. I prefer Mr. B's green trees or Nature pride more though. Those 2 are more of a complete fertilizer (which I add to my tea blends). Some times I do hybrid teas some times just straight up Microbial/ Fungal.

I looked at the MG Performance Plus Organics. It appears that they have 6 different NPK formulations. They might have more but is is what I gleaned from their website.

5-7-10
7-6-9
8-8-8
9-2-7
9-4-12
11-3-8

Here's a couple of the labels. It's as organic as anything else calling itself organic. I'll probably never use it but I was curious. In some places where there are not many options for soil or fertilizer the Performance Plus line is a great option since Walmart and Home Depot carry it at many of their stores and if they don't you can order it and have it shipped to the store for free.

Maybe most cannabis growers don't support them but they're selling a bunch. Outside the cannabis growing world Miracle-Grow is not looked down upon. There is a reason they are the third biggest soil brand in the world. People buy it. I think many of the cannabis specific nutrient companies that have popped up in recent years to cash in on selling a bottle with 50¢ worth of MKP for $20 are going to be coming to an end as people wise up and get tired of paying excessive prices for 12 bottles of stuff and realize they don't need to and many less expensive options perform as well or better.

I expect to see the Miracle-Grow Performance Organics line being extremely successful going forward. Especially since it's already in most of the big box stores. The packaging is extremely eye catching as well. No cartoon characters or lightning bolts. Looks professional. They know their target market. This isn't aimed at the cannabis grower. They have a couple soil companies under their Hawthorne subsidiary that has all their cannabis companies like Botanicare, GH, Gavita, Sun Systems, And many more. The soil companies under that umbrella are Vermicrop Organics and Mother Earth. People might not like them but they are not going away and will just continue to grow as they acquire more and more companies which they will do. And I don't even understand the hate towards them. The cannabis industry has some pretty shady players itself yet many seem to worship them for some reason.

I'm not trying to promote MG but I just find it interesting to watch what's going on as a large corporation buys up companies and moves into the cannabis industry.

do u use it for veg and do you see any burn? Im just afraid 9-2-7 may be too strong for veg. Im about to go cheapo because im tired of spending like 50-$100 a grow on expensive organic dry ferts when i can spend $20 on MG and call it a day and that $20 last multiple grows. If the 9-2-7 works for veg ill buy a bottle of the granules and put it to work. I cant keep affording these expenses trying to grow organic. Think next grow i might even try the MG soil or just promix with the MG organic food combo. Cheap and works.

currently im using the down to earth ferts and its burning a hole in my pocket and im not working currently. I considered going back synthetic but i think this MG food may be an organic problem solver

Yeah honestly it wasnt bad at all. I used the red bottle of 7-6-9 and got extremely solid results. I only applied it once tho and then the next month when i got my regular ferts delivered i switched back. But the ones that got that month of MG reeked way more and they were all the same strain.

im gonna use the rest of the7-6-9 i have left when i switch to flower again. Only thing that sucked was that the high N made them super leafy.

Yea i did burn them a bit for sure. But it seems to be a very reasonably priced product. And the plants recovered and got super green and bushy. I need play with it more, I'm using natures pride right now, its on the side lines. I'll dabble with it on some more established plants and let you know how it goes. If you wanted to make a tea with it try 1/4 of what it says and see how that goes. Work up from there.

I was tempted to try this cause Home depot carries it as well. https://www.espoma.com/product/plant-tone/#tab2. Its got chicken shit in it but if your on a budget so be it.

Its 5-3-3 and has calmag in it so it sounds good. I just know their product line usually takes forever to break down in soil. Maybe playing with the ratio of MG would help. I think i used half of the refonmended dosage in soil during flower
