Hi, is it safe to use for long period ,for watering for example?
Sometimes I can't water during plants day time, can I use this light for it?
I know for short times its OK, but wanted to know if I can actually do some plant maintenance during night time using this green light.
Something like 30 minutes.

Thanks

Thought about getting this one:

You could always switch your cycle to have lights on when you’re there rather than spending money on a new light.

I used to shorten or lengthen my light cycle to what worked for me and then switched to 12 hours dark if flowering or 6 hours dark if veg. I’ve done 18 hours light 12 hours dark for to fatten up my harvest, it just sets harvest dates back. You can also shorten days to harvest early with a smaller harvest.

The plants don’t have to be on a 24 hour cycle. They just need a dark period to be the same length to know if they should veg or flower.

Any light can interfere with flowering especially if it's bright enough. Plants use green light contrary to popular belief. A low beam green light should be ok here and there but on a schedule eg everyday at lights out you're in there mucking about with lights on for an hour it could definitely affect them. But here and there shouldn't be a concern.
My rule is doors closed at lights out unless I'm spraying for pests, there's a problem and I need to immediately fix it, changing bulbs on or adjusting hid fixtures, changing pump timer. That's it. There's no reason to be in there on lights out unless there's an emergency or hid work. And when I do that I try for about 10-15mins before lights on. Why risk running into issues. Eliminate all those risks and there can be no issue.
Plus, watering at night is a generally bad idea. The plants aren't transpiring as much and so they aren't pulling much water up. It raises your humidity levels, and makes a great environment for fungii to grow. Not to mention it's been known to lead to guttation.
It's better to water or feed earlier in the cycle, like an hour or two after lights on. That way, the plants awake, and working ready to use that feed that you set the ph on. Left sitting in media, the ph will swing by the day time and be less available to the plant so it's just working harder to get less.... You're working against yourself and the plants.

I've used green lights in my rooms for years. Never had a problem. Make sure it's an actual green led, and not a while light with a green diffuser.

I don't spend long periods in there, maybe 15 minutes max, usually less, but my plants have never had problems.

I have a friend that leaves a low wattage green led bulb on full time over his entire grow. This is a 3 dozen plant, multi light grow. He's never had a plant reveg or herm on him, and that thing stays on 24/7.

Thanks, I think I'll give it a try, and keep it only for a must case.
The tent its in the bedroom, and because of temperature the plant daytime is our night time...
So 21:00 to 9:00, wife that likes to sleep early, and me who likes to wake up late... leave me with very tight window.
Green light can save the day for watering in case I missed the window.

Light is light. The plants aren't going to necessarily change their schedule for a dim single spectrum light regardless of color IME.
