I saw yer thread.
Why are yer long flowering outdoor sativa tops so small?.........................musta been a ph issue.
"defending the thread"...................not sure where I attacked the thread I merely made a statement and asked a question neither of which were directed at yer noob ass.
Dude, you come on to a thread that is based upon a question, and instead of trying to answer that question, you ask a question of your own? Thats real helpful...lol...and I don't care if you think that bud was small, I'm not in the game to impress you or anyone else, I'm in it for free smoke...lol...Really, lashing out at people gives you a rise? I hope so, cause it has little efect on me. You're not being helpful, you're being smug and condescending, yeah, thats what RIU is all about, right?

OP: Yes. Like Bostoner says, you can use Phosphoric Acid (I do). As a bonus, you are providing phosphorus to your plants.

If you are using the battery acid, it is extremely strong. Mixing 3:7 will melt your plants (and maybe your fingers). I create a buffer solution with ~ 3 oz. to 1 gallon water. 1 oz of the solution brings a gallon of my 8.5 water down to 6.5.

i'm using 81% phosphoric acid bought from a grow shop.. it says its for hydro. a couple of drops of the stuff in 2L brings the ph down close enough for me, is that safe enough?

Yes, it's fine guyson, just follow the directions and use your pH meter and you're good to go. Just make sure to diagnose your plant correctly.

sure can, just dilute with plenty of water and be sure to measure the ph cause that stuff is powerful.

to me, images 3 and 6 look interesting, the damage to this leaf has deteriorated... i think that picture might be the most help to you as the symptoms will be more obvious. this leaf was in the medium growth, and the damage isnt so bad in the medium-new growth. is this damage anything to worry about if it gets sorted soon as the damage isnt that bad?
