Using soil straight out of the bag?

Are all your plants the same variety? I grow different ones together, and I had a freebie "smile" from kanniba seeds look like that till I went 12-12, then the leaves flattened. None of the other plants curled. Plants are like kids. Even sisters don't look the same, and some a healthier than others.

Too much heat/salt buildup either one will do that

where would the salt be from and how do i combat the problem? thanks for info

you woulnd't want to do it too fast as to not shock the plant but with fresh water

What's you temp, and do you have co2? that's one of the great thing about co2, it allows for higher temps. Also, whats your humidity? I have a buddy whose plants (and him) are chronically too high (aren't we all) in temp, and too low in humidity, because he grow upstairs in his house, and his plants always look like that. That plant doesn't look but 6-8 weeks old, I don't see how it could possibly be a nute issue.

And by the way, I've seen a whole lot of plants look a whole lot worse than that and finish great.
