I harvested couple of plants with fem seeds already with this sts technique. This article posted above is just for a start. Some MJ plants will produce male flowers with 1:9 ratio(as stated in howto). But i've seen numerous cases, including my own where i had to up the ratio. I found 1:2, 1:4 ratios working fine for me. You could even go with 1:1. I did not see yellowing mentioned in the howto. Was spraying every other day. It takes about 2-4 weeks for male flowers to fully develop.
I even revegged one fem>male plant and then it was forming fem flowers again.

I use a different formula. In the one mentioned above the numbers are 0.05g od nitrate per 1 L and 0.25g of sodium per 1L. What I used was 0.75g of nitrate and 4g of sodium per 1L.
But the plants did get burned so i'll lower the dosage next time. The thing is that i wasnt expecting any female flowers which seems to be normal.
The other two didnt grow any male flowers yet but they are slower flowering so it may just take them a bit longer. We'll see. Will have to try a couple of times to get it right

I also use 1:1 ratio sts an spray every few days. It even reverses a single branch.
