I never said it was cheap it is expensive it's cause the T5's are new and are high output.. Also they give a better area of light where as u need a crap ton of cfl's to cover the same given area. You will make back what you spend usually in the first grow

And those 15k lumens cost you 234 watts of power. The t5 setup for $120 gives you 20k lumens for 217 watts.

yep so in the long run u save on electricty bill, thats why I am gona stop using CFL's after I make some more money to by my second set of T5's.. Also I am gona upgrade froma 250 hps to a 400

Take that 250w HPS and get a MH conversion bulb to use for vegging. Then get a 400w HPS for flowering.

I would but I would then need 2 MH for vegging cause I have a clonebox on the way and the way ill have it set up is top shelf for cloning and mothers bottom shelf for vegging.. So I would need 2 250 watt MH and it would get way to hot the t5 setup would be easier and less hassle in the long run because of the heat issue.. I live in an apartment complex, So I gota keep my operation on the DL
