I'm growing this on city water. I just let the jugs set for 24 hours if posible. Sometimes only 10 minutes untill I use it.

I use tap. I'd say that it depends on your area, and how your water is treated. For the most part, I'd think you'd be safe to use tap.

Ya you should be just fine w/ your tap. I would recommend letting it sit out for 24 hrs before use if possible. This gives the chlorine in the tap time to evaporate :)

Chlorine can be a good thing for the roots. Kills pathogens and what not, but too much will burn your plant :(

yep, most big cities have good water. I've ph tested ours and it's always the same. Make for easy growing. I use 3 gallon on some days.

According to Alton Brown tap water is held to a higher standard(as I recall it was phrased with the term bacterial, and may only apply to that) than most bottled water(in the USA). Other sources I've read have claimed you're likely drinking tap water, possibly cheaply filtered.

I use tap water. I try not to let it stagnate too long in open containers. Oxygen is also lost from leaving it sit out.

Some people take a fish air pump and stone and pump air in for 24 hours. If I had a hyd set up I might try it.

Good to know, I have always used distilled water from the store and it gets expensive. My last grow I had 3 pink kush and 1 NL and I was going through about 6 gallons a week during flowering, I'll have to give tap water a shot.
