USPS suspicion letter

I got a letter in the mail saying

The purpose of this letter is to advise you that a priority mail parcel withUSPS tracking number xxxxxx is currently being withheld from delivery as there are reasonable grounds to believe its contents are non-mailable, and possibly in violation of federal law, specifically, the controlled substance act. Our attempts to contact the mailer to obtain additional information have been unsuccessful thus far.

It gives me the option to go get my package but I don’t know if I should or if it is a set up. It’s only an oz of tree. What should I do? Anyone else had this happen?

I have no idea what your taking about

I have no idea what your talking about

I have no idea what your talking about

They are going to make you open it there, likely cops waiting in the next room or in the room. All this means is they dont have a warrant to open it themselves, and they are looking for help. Maybe you'll get lucky an they will just deliver it in a few weeks, in that case I'd take it inside, an not open it for a couple weeks. If someone shows up asking questions hand it to them and say you didn't recognize the sender and didn't want to open it.

Deny, deny, deny, deny.
If the sender doesnt tell, then its all circumstantial.
"What usps letter?"
"What parcel?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about."

P.S.
They need you to pick up the package. So they can prove it was you receiving it, and attempt to press charges.

Deny mate.
Deny.

:peace:

Thank you! This is more of the kind of answer I needed. It’s a trick.

All good advice above.
Even IF the sender tells, they got nothing, they're fishing for you to incriminate yourself. If contacted again, only utter the phrase "No comment"
Repeat that phrase again, and again, and again, and again, to any question asked, if it comes to that.
The alleged parcel, with suspicious contents, does not exist in your eyes. Never did.

In California? Highly unlikely. The law doesn't care about marijuana any more.
The op is better off sending a fuck you letter, and becoming angry about this situation.

It's still federally illegal. I know plenty of people who are having issues in legal states. Dont be fooled, state legality is little real protection. If there's no problem they will deliver it. If there is a problem she doesn't need to walk into a trap.
This is a oz, nothing to take a risk over. What's a oz in cali? Gotta be under 100$
What's your freedom worth? More than 100$ I'd bet.
The risk/reward ratio imo, says fuck that package.

Gentlemen, welcome to Weed Club. The first rule of Weed Club is: you do not talk about Weed Club. The second rule of Weed Club is: you DO NOT talk about Weed Club! Third rule of Weed Club: someone mails you weed then Weed Club is over.
