Myco is made by only a couple different companies in the US, it doesn't really matter where you get it. I use MycoGrow for it's price.

Today is the start of the Apollo's 4th week from sprout. All four were transplanted into 1/2 gal containers on Saturday and are just starting to recover from the rootbinding and transplant shock.

The flower bed is practically on its own now; clover trimming and the Blumat water supply are the two main concerns. Blackberry is producing trichs readily and her buds are beginning to swell. Mystery seed is exhibiting strong sativa characteristics; stretch is finally slowing down, calyx and pistil poppin is starting. Madness is growing along, pretty low key.

Thanks skunky, keeping my fingers crossed for few surprises.

The lighting source is a 2ft 4 bulb hydrofarm T5HO. Aquarium bulbs were substituted for the traditional grow and bloom bulbs.

The color is supposed to model the photosynthetic action spectrum, whatever that means. There's a thread in the indoor section, "LED without LEDS", that's all about T5s and aquarium lights. It's a cool read for lighting info, even if the bulbs are of no interest ...but man, it's long.

Yep man know all about remember we had this discussion on my thread. The bulbs peak at the exact color spectrum plants use like 420nm and 460nm for the purple blue then 630nm for blue so your bulbs just peak at 420nm and 630nm giving it that purple color. But a lot of the time I see LEDs that do the same that's what threw me off plus I don't remember us ever talking about your T5HO

That's right, we did chat about PAR. Looks like i might've been RIUing under the influence.

It's a sound principle but if these bulbs don't work out, all of this fucking purple's for nothing.

They do look pretty ( the purple lights).... What day flower, hows the veggies; my peppers and lettuce and tomatoes are going crazy already! What kind of bud u smoking on OTM? Hows life?
