Utilizing 5x5 tents!

I just spread my “to be canopy” out, for you guys to check out there’s 9 fem seedlings in 7 gallon pots. I have em pushed to the corner rn usually, with a 600w MH. I’m waiting til the day I flip the lights 12/12 to order another 600 MH/HPS combo . There cooltube as you can see, my question is simple. What’s the best set up in this 5x5 for two 600s, or if there’s any better ideas rather than the 2nd 600 for yield?? I’m talking about how to lay it out for max coverage, also how big will I veg em? There’s 3 that’s a week younger than the rest so that’s clearly gonna be different.. I need to find out how big to veg a plant to yield minimum 2.5oz a piece, preferably 3-3.5oz @9 plants, there heavy yielding monsters so there very capable ( gorilla zkittlez an 8ball kush the 3 lil ones r blue cheese

5x5 tent you should use a 1000watt covers more lux

I grow in those same pots, in a 5x5 tent with FF ammended soils, usually veg for 6-8 weeks, and pull right at a pound (14-16 ozs) consistently off of 5-6 plants. I grow under a 630w CMH with dual spectrum bulbs and right when I switch to 12/12 I add a 400w HPS vertical bulb that is open and hanging down almost at the felt-pot level.

Yessir, I’m looking for bare minimum 20 ounces, would like 25 or 30 ... I don’t mind filling my tent and I have over 12 years grow experience outdoors and a bit indoors. What stains do you run and can you show me a pic of ur 6 right before you flip em into flower please and thank you I need a size to go by

hey partner I would like to offer up some advise.. the pot size this early off a stage is too big. You are going to waste water nutrients possible dry pockets if you don't water properly. I would recommend carefully digging those out and putting them in a 3 gallon for about 2 weeks then check to see if there read for 7 gallon. I like to transfer a total of 3 times before flowering. if I'm wrong or giving bad advise please some one give a 2nd opinion I will post a few photos for ya

I recommend doing 1 gal 3 gal then 7
The last pick is 5 gal I’m in a 5x5 and as is watering and pruning is tight

I like Sativas so my yields aren’t ever big but its all for me so I only go for strong and quality...never quantity. I keep a landrace Afghani, 1024, Ghost Train Haze 1 and Jack La Mota always, have mothers, clones, etc of those...but I also vary my stash with other strains as well as growing outdoors spring-late fall. Sorry no pics, I will never post pics of a grow online......
I could tell you my methods and size/heights, but almost always flower clones that have been vegging for 2 months along with a couple from seed, and if you’ve been growin 12 years you already know I have to top, LST or mainline germed plants to be on par with mature clones...they grow totally different. And, the 4100+3800K CMH bulbs make my plants shorter and bushier, so when that HPS.comes on from below the canopy top they always over-stretch from the stimulation. I said 5-6 plants because I often have to take a massive, stretchy sativa leaner out or wont be able to see the soil again! Point is your plants will grow different than mine due to only HPS, genetics, nutes, whatever. Flower 9 plants at 6 weeks veg under 800watts of multi-source HPS and you will have a freaking jungle in there my friend, use Cookies, OGs or skunks and other indica leaners to keep it more like a tall SOG

Nice, could u tell me what is happening here and if it’s light stress or not cuz I had the 600w metal halide probly 28 inches away , when I just checked on em they were pointing up like I found the sweet spot for light intensity but then I seen this

Yeah I have 13 yrs of growing outdoors, not indoors.. this is only my second grow indoors man so I have a lot to learn in this world! Glad for your help tho pal thank you

i cant really tell much from the pics but it almost looks like critters, maybe thrips, aphids or leafminers.

Go way? r u serious man, ahhhhhhh.. I just set up my tent like 3 weeks ago, u sure it ain’t from the light being too close dude cuz it only showed marks on two plants out of 9 and only the very very top of the plant sooo?.

It ain’t critters buddy , I just set up shop... so that’s 100% out of the question u can see there ain’t no leaf miner in my indoor grow thanks for trying to help by I only want viable answers that I don’t already know...

Plants are in beast mode as of like 3 days ago growing more vigorous than ever! Big ones are at day 22 from sprout I believe with the 3 blue cheese a week behind them..looking at flipping the lights to 18/6 from 20/4 tonight possibly,to encourage even more growth leaving them go another 8-10 days before the final switch to 12/12 !! Just waiting on my wire to arrive so I can LST sum a bit, every plant has been topped about a week ago except for 1 gorilla zkittlez at the far left, which I plan on topping and tying down as well. Both GZ an the BC are 60/40 indica hybrids so they probly stretch quite a bit in flower I heard blue cheese can triple in size once induced?

I know u can’t esactly go by what the yields say on paper but I’m hopin to get the bigger six plants close to 3 square feet around, each when they finish @2-2.5 ounce per plant then the 3 outsider small blue cheeses I want about a quarter pound between em er at least 100grms...that would be like a fantasy draft right there but i’l be happy with a pound between all 9 plants...cuz I’m adding another 600w HPS so il have 1200w altogether covering 25 square feet (5x5) if anyone wants to elaborate on how big to veg a plant to produce 60-70 grams a piece I’m open for debate as well, I believe that the biggest one in the picture wouldn’t yield much over an ounce right now if I switched em to flower today, there in 7gal pots btw that r 14 inches wide..plants r 8-10 inches tall and almost as wide as the pot, I figure they need to be bout 15-18 inches tall and a half foot of over hang outside the pots in order to yield up over 2oz a pop.. I donno though it’s my first climate controlled grow tent experiment.

9 plants avg 20"x20" in that space so train them, spread them out and top till you get to 15" across then flip is my best guess.

Smart man! Ur dead on pretty well, my biggest ones will be taking a lil more than 2 ft squared tho probly 2.5 n 3 shes lookin like it’s gonna b stuffed at the end now eh?..there’s gonna be sum overlapage I believe lol I’m forced to change the lights tonight for sure cuz they blew up again last night like crazy they all grew over an inch from a 6 hour dark period, glad I have 3 smaller plants to help with the about to be “jungle” in there..
