Looks like secondary node growth to me.

Ok well I was thinkung that too but my plant is filled out alot but if thats growth then where will the pistils be???

The pistols come out of the "nodes" theres nothing there yet, but if its female, you will notice some there.

Is sexually mature when you notice the nods grow symmetrically.

I thought alternating nodes was a tell tell sign of sexual maturity

Yes it's alternating nodes.

The pistils form on the calyxes and that is what forms your bud.
