Bringing this back up for more ideas. I thought it would be a good idea since it would virtually "freeze" the moisture and quality. With small quanities I have just put in a baggie then a cottage cheese carton and that seemed to work ok for my small boughten batches.
I grew two GSC that I think is ready to put up. I've been keeping them in plastic sealed tubs and burping but see no moisture after being sealed so think they may be ready.
I put a batch of trim in the vac-pac today and it really compressed it.
What do you think?
Thanks for any help

I think if you vac-pac it in a plastic bag you will ruin -- at least the bag appeal -- of your buds. You can use a vacuum sealer to vacuum seal mason jars, but you need the machine and the attachment (I use a FoodSaver V2244 which I got from amazon.com), as well as the jars. I do this -- and toss in an O2 absorber -- and it seems to work well. If you have a lot or steadily have some to stash, it is definitely worthwhile but for a-few-grams-of-bud-once-in-a-while it may well be a bit much. Just keeping it in a mason jar -- particularly with a Boveda 62 tossed in it -- will keep it just fine for a long while. Proceed with caution when squeezing all the air out of flexible bags full of nice fat buds, though.

I've used the seal a meal bags for several yrs for long term storage after the cure, but I do not vac them. Compared to zip lock bags, it's light years better. This last summer I got a new GameSaver vac-u-seal I got the wide mouth jar attachment also. So far I'd say the vac sealed jars are at least as good for storage as the non vac seal a meal bags. I've played a little bit with vac sealing jars between burbs during the dry/cure, but can't say if it better or worse than jars sealed at atmospheric pressure.

During the 1970's most of the import was old, mishandled, squashed, and every thing else. I know that I can return the lost hydrogen molecule to the cannabinoid and turn it back to a THC molecule providing that too much degradation hasn't occurred, using a water enhanced with loose hydrogen molecules.
