I was looking for djshorts blueberry when I went there but they were out so the girl behind the counter recommended Kish (formerly shiskaberry) from a breeder that goes by the name of Cash Crop Ken. I was a bit skeptical as this sounded like she was trying to unload some old stock on me. I knew they had a reputation of replacing seeds if they don't germinate and she said if I had any probs to come back. 10 seeds were $90 plus tax. I germinated 5 out of the 10 seed and checked em daily. after the 3rd day I was getting worried as no sign of germination but low and behold on the 4th day 2 had cracked and the 5th day 2 more but 1 did nothing so I just left it. The 4 seeds had now turned into nice little seedlings. A week after that I want to through the 5th seed away cause the paper towel had totally dried. What do you know there was a little white root poking out of the 5th seed so I potted it. It struggle to spout so I pulled the shell off by hand. Long story short all five Kish plants became lush flowering females and are now about 3 weeks away from harvest. Also I took 4 clones from each plant before I put then to flower thinking I would destroy a percentage of males. Only 1 clone failed to root so I got 19 clones ready for a scrog I am planning. It is a much taller strain than I expected but a very robust growing plant. I want to thank the Vancouver seed Bank for the recommendation. Now I just hope it is potent. If anyone has grown this strain perhaps you could let me know your opinions on its quality.
