i was at 600 ppm until i noticed some nute burn on the leaf edges, ppm is at 250-300 right now. ill be bringing it up gradually to around 400 to see how she does from there. doesnt seem to be a heavy eater at all currently.

PPM is around 400 right now, and things seem fine. Bud sites are popping up all over... Ran out of room on right side of Scrog so they are all getting turned to the left now and are going to travel counter clockwise around the screen until the stretch stops... Might be a little crowded over there but I guess we'll see.

This plant is REALLY sensitive to nutrients... I attempted to add a bud booster at only an additional 50 ppm and within 1-2 days I started noticing the leaf tips burning so I drained my res and I'm back to just basic nutes again at around 300ppm... Vanilla Kush, at least this one seems to be a VERY light feeder. Anyways, bud sites popping up all over... I've stopped tucking branches and I'm just letting them grow up now... Right side of screen is filled and the left side just has a little room so I'm thinking I timed everything pretty good for my first shot.

The aroma is really starting... It's very unique. I can definitely tell how VK got it's name... smooth, vanilla, creamy, milky... Those are all the words I would use to describe the smell. I'm loving it.
PPM is at 300... I'm tempted to bump up the PPM but whenever i've gone above 400 the leaf tips start to burn.

Should I be concerned at all with the low PPM? Will it affect anything in the long run? Only my second grow so I'm still a newbie here, just curious... Right now the plant is at 300ppm, but like I've said before, anything higher than 400 seems to burn the leaves.

Just try and slowly increase try and burn it up to 400 and keep it there for a week then go 500 next then try 600 the next after that you'll probley start flushing I think since your almost a month in but yeah just try and gradually bump it up 100 ppm.

PPM around 350 right now... I'm gonna try to bump it up some more because ph keeps rising and ppm keeps dropping so she seems to be hungry now... We'll see how this goes...

I've been trimming some today. It is way too congested... There were a handful of buds I chopped off, because while they were decent size they were pale yellow because they are stuck in the middle of 4 other buds. I'm trying to clear some space up on the far left and right because there are far too many leaves and buds need to be moved around for air passage.
I've moved an oscillating fan to the floor pointing up at the plant to blow air up from the bottom and I have a fan blowing across the top of the plant... I need to trim up some more and I'll post pics... Everything looks the same really, just cleaning up the crap underneath that is getting no light and just congesting everything.

Really cleaned up underneath... Every bud should have decent air movement around it, I'll still be moving them around and checking on them daily... Does anybody think I should use more fans to be safe? Last thing I want is mold so obviously more air=no mold.

I've been playing with feeding it more and trying to read the plant based off the PH... Right now I'm at 350ppm and I can keep the PH steady between 5.8 and 6.2, I've gone up to 400 and then I start to see the PH dropping, sometimes below 5.5... so the sweet spot seems to be around 350 to keep PH stable/rising instead of it dropping. Bud growth has been fun to watch, these buds seems to be pretty tight and dense from what I can tell... they FEEL solid. I've been getting in there with rubber gloves and moving buds around to where I want them, everything seems good so far. I'm expecting to see a ton of growth over the next 10 days or so. Well, I've been watching it more closely with PPM and trying to increase it... I'm up to around 600-650 right now with no signs of nute burn or anything like that... PH is staying around 6.0
These buds feel good and solid, not like my last grow where they were fluffy.
